Today at school i sparred a boxer. We did it a little more controlled. He used gloves and did stricly boxing,a nd I could not hit him, just strictly BJJ. I took him down a couple of times, but had toruble finishing him off. I saw my weakenesses, and I had a lot of fun. I weigh aroud 150-155, and he wieghs i beleive 180 or a little above. Who had the advantage here? and when i got a hold of him, i got his back stnding up and had trouble bringing him to the ground. hes also a pretty strong kid and i was surprised i got ahold of him. what are good ways of bringing him down? thanks.

oh, should i just run and not lift weights, because drinking the protein shake after i workout, that wont hiner my abs to show? also, waht ab exercises do you do to make them bigger and show more? and how long does it take? ive been doing it for almost a week now. thanks

does anyone do this stuff? its so cool. i bought a book yesterday called "origami on the flip side" because i want to learn it. complex stuff, but very awesome.

i toom capoiera for like 6- 8 months, and i seen that it takes a while to ge tthe hang of it so you can use it efficteively. but it does get you into shape, and into the habit of dodging punches and kicks, which is never bad. in the end, i believe there are better martial arts for self-defense, but in the rihgt hands, capoiera can be devistating.

ok, thanks a lot for the diet, a freind of mine gave me a deit i am going to start, ill list it here for you to see if its good. i thnk for breakfast, he wants me to eat just the egg instead of all that? Breakfast: 5 eggs, only one with the yoke. 1 bowl of old fashioned oats 5 slices of turkey bacon 2 pieces of dark toast. Lunch: turkey (cold cut chicken on bread) any lettuce fruit, sweet potato. After school: protein shake (and if i want, a scoop of peanut butter in it, or some berries) Dinner: Grilled Chicken, tuna fish, something in that area (any more suggestions?) Before i go to bed: protein shake this diet is for me to get my abs, i am also going to drinka protein shake after i work out. what do you guys think of this diet? thanks

cv? cardio vascular right? like running for a half hour? sounds good. i also gotta finda good diet, that seems to be top proirity. thanks a lot guys, ill just pick up a little on the weight lifting since its 3 days.

Knee on belly with arm control

when fighting with gi, after i brake the guard, i grab the the pants from the inside, move them to one side and move to knee on belly position. ive made someone tap out with that already, nice move. -
hey guys, i have had this digital camera for about 2 years. it doesnt relly turn on anymore, and when it does it would just show a purple image, then change color, then just turn off. sometimes it wont even turn on. it records very small videos, and takes a lot of pictures. its a hp photosmart (it also says 3.2 MP) does anyone know how to fix this problem, i tried new batteries, but it wont work. if noone knows, is there a place i can get it fixed for free? thanks.

im thinking of Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday working out with weights, and mon, wed, and fri doing cardio which is basically BJJ. would 3 days be too little to work with weights to get my muscles bigger? im also going to find a diet to make my abs show (if anyone knows of any good ones a 17 year old in high school can do?) but i will also continue with my protein shakes. but is 3 days enough? thanks a lot

i jsut thought about this thing in winter. it must be better right? because the sweat evaporates, and when you go outside, there will be less sweat. is that right?

hey guys, i am at the process of doing my college applications for college. im trying to send it early to appy for early action. i am applying to suny schools (state schools in new york) and i still dont know exactly what my career choice is, but the idea of personal trainer has been intresting me a little. i thought physical therapist, but that seems to be alot of college, a lot of money, and not at my level. now, for the personal trainers, what type of courses will you have to take at college? how much of a challenge is it to become a pesonal trainer? is the pay good? (i heard it is). what type of person do you have to be to be a personal trainer? any information or advice would be greatly appreiciated. thanks a lot, and take care.

whats the purpose of this shirt. does it only obsorb all the sweat? why is this good? isnt it better to keep the sweat? sorry, i dont know too much about it. also, how tight are kneepads suppose to be? thanks

Your power for kicks is going to come from a strong abdominal region and lower back. Yes, doing 100 crunches a day goes seem like a lot, but I started off going 30, every 3 days, then worked my way to 100 every 5 days. I take two days off to rest, because abs are just like every other muscle, they need rest to grow. They will tighten up, but will only get really big if you eat enough food (the right food) or if you just shoot up on the juice. I do 5 sets of crunches.... 20 reps slowly, breathing out at the top, and in on the way down. You will really feel this when you start getting to your 3rd set. Then I do about 30-40 leg lifts. This is good because crunches don't always hit your lower abs. Remember!!!!! ABS are made in the kitchen, not the gym. If you don't eat a clean healthy diet, you'll never see them yeah, thats the worst part about them,lol. i shtere a food i cane at that i can get my abs to show, and also get bigger with protein shakes?
