BJJ useful?

crap,s orrya bout the doube posting, i didnt know. anyone know how to erase that? -
wats a really usefull martial arts for an actualy fight or streetfight. i heard BJJ and Judo were among the best and fast to learn. the area i live in, im hearing about abd things like people jumping and stuff, so i want tol prepare as soon as possible. im actually liking capoeira a lot and will continue to do it, but its not a martial arts that is easy to apply to a real life fight situation very easily. i heard BJJ was though. if anyone has information on BJJ, if uw ant, u can aim me at maddwraph or maddwraph with msn messenger. i jsut want to knwo some of the thigns like how long is the class, wat do u learn, is it as much of a workout as capoiera. thanks a bunch

how much should u wait before doing another cycle of push ups?

well, i do capoiera so i have to be fast, adn strong, wat i am doing, is that bad? and i guess mostly i want to look kind of ripped like in the abs and arms, that would be pretty cool. is letting my body wait over a minute not going to help me get to that? thanks.

for lifting weights and doing crunches. me for example, lift thumbells 20 pounds 15 times, then takea break on that by doing 30 crunches, 15 leg lifts, bak exercises, and then take a little over 5 minutes and repeat this 2 more time. my question is will my mucles not develop fast if i take to long of a break between these? like if i lift the thumbells and then wait like 10 minutes? thanks.

i heard these kinds of things where if u keep getting hit, u build ressistance, it kidn of makes sense, before u try it though, defnitely see if its safe. wats that makiwara training and wats a maleluka tree?

i can do like 15 push ups then have to wait a while and can do some more, i do 3 sets of this a day. is this good? i remember a person on this forum said they do 10 push ups, wait 10 seconds, and then do 10 more, wat is the best method to do push ups? anyone ahev suggestions how i should go about this and how much i should doa day? thanks

anyone know and exercises that will strengthen ur bak, i only know one, and it seems to be working. i started doing crunches and my bak would hurt so i was told that its good to have a balance of strenght in ur nak and abs. and my family also has history of bak problems so i want to make it stronger. thanks

kle1n wat happened to u happnes to many people, and probably msot people when theres 7 of them around.i think its called adrenaline dump or something. im sorry to hear about ur situaion, but u handled that qutie nicely, and anyone could understand, especially if its someone who cares about u like ur girlfreind. good luck and good job. also dont quit, contineu.

hey Ryan gry, sorry to hear about ur situation and i hope it goes well. personally, id rather people just be nice to each other but there r a####### in the world. these bullies at lot of time r just all talk and probably really wont fight. try and not sya anythign to him and will make him mad, like when he started walking away and u yelled something to him, whenenver he says something, just ignore him. best of luck to u man. -
and of that genre wats ur favorite band or artist. i like metal, and favorite band is sytem of a down and soulfly, not sure which one.

thanks a lot. the reason also why i want to take BJJ is becasue of wat i am learning mostly in capioera is strikes, so id figure id mix it up with a martial arts that does grapples which seems like BJJ. Thanks a lot for the comment, help, and welcome.

i take capioera and would not mess with the more advance guys in the group. capioera like any martial arts can be good ina real fight depending on the person. the reason why capoiera is good is becasue of its fast speed, power, and it also is very decieving. it truly is a beautiful martial arts. -

im new to this forum and decided to join it because i recently started a martial arts. i recently started capoiera. anyone else take that or know about it? im thinking about taking brasilian ju jistu (im brasilian btw, but live in the u.s.) im looking for a martial arts that would actually work or be very useful in a real fight situation. i heard BJJ is one of the best. anyone else know one? btw wat is sparring? thanks
