  1. yes please remember it isnt a for self defense, niether is it a martial art, its similar to shadow boxing and makes you kick air, its quite similar to sport tkd, - no offence implied
  2. i have been getting some mixed views here, which i appreciate all of them, ecspecially the pm message from sai, i dont know, i feel as if i didnt do anything and just walked away, the guy would have chased after her, and touched her in some way, i didnt want to put my girlfriend in a position like that, the push , i guess the push was what started the fight, but it was really the spur of the moment, if a person starts swearing at you and you are like one foot away, it is very likely with instinct and as a quick reaction to push him back, i know what i did was out of order and over the top, but guys with girlfriends here, lets enter the real world, wouldnt you do the same?
  3. hey all, i was leaving school one day, with my girlfriend, when i got some guy looking at her, not much of a deal, she's hot, could i blame the guy?, so anyways i kept on walking and he came up to us two, he then said to the girl, with words to be precise "oy *****, fancy a shag", i was of course very angry, so i pushed him and told him to watch his mouth, but then he punched me back in my jaw, now as most of you know the adrenaline was pumpin and i couldnt think, it was so bad that when i went to punch him, i missed and hit above his shoulder, put then i managed to hit him with my left hand, which caused him to bleed straight away, then i did a front kick to the stomach, this actually caused me to bounce back of him since he was against a wall and i bounced back unbalanced, then i got up and did my favourite step sidekick, but i missed!?, in the end he ran of, and i was the saviour of knight and shinning armour for my love however, when i got home, i found there were a few deep cuts in my left hand, this was because i smacked him in the teeth probably, what do you guys think is the best place to hit guy in the face, where you will do max damage and least damage to yourself, also what do you guys think about my response to the guy

  5. no tatoos at all, i would probably get a fake one, which lasts for about 6 months - probably a ring of spikes or loops around my tricep

  8. the close the opponent, the more it will hurt bon, it wouldnt really make a difference, plus you would use a kick to knock the opponent out b4 he comes within a foot of you anyways
  9. light stretching, dont go all out, ecspecailly in those air kicks, always jog b4 you train, always start to go 70% of your ability, then work your way up, if it hurts then stop take it easy, and there is no way of really speeding up the process of healing when it is a muscle problem let nature take its course, and dont do anything stupid
  10. i would say kicks for all of the areas i think nobody realises how powerful a kick is, imagine, you take a punch pag, you punch it as hard as you can, you put an indentation in it, and sway it slightly, put if you kick it, the bag will lift in the air, hit against the wall which it is suspended from, and a HUGE indentations will be produced, i would defenitely say kicks

  14. why do you need a days rest stretching is not that bad of a strenous excercise, it keeps your muscles warm where is the harm in that?
  15. who would like to mention their goal first?, im practicin speed training the number of press ups, crunches, turning kicks per minute, then measuring my heart rate every month

  17. bon you sound like a real hard knock, big it up oxygenash, you mentioned that there are alot of good boxers than kickboxers that is wrong, you only say that because of so much publicity that the boxers get, and how little kickboxers get, people who are not publicised as much, will train harder than the famous, kickboxers will train more than boxers example, the naz and barrera fight, naz is publicised enuf, with his annoying big-headedness, and barrera not at all, but who one the fight , barrera, there will soon be a time when the famous boxers who believe in money more than the sport who will have to face kickboxers, who believe in the sport more than the money
  18. i practice kung fu aswell van_damme, i personally dont agree with angus's approach, i feel that you first should be consistent in one art, and then if you feel experienced enough from it, then move onto another you must have mentioned at least ten art angus, which i doubt you spent more than a year on, you need at least two years of training in art, to really be experienced from it and to achieve the benifits, rather than attending the seminars for an art, every other tuesday will, - what do you want to do your art for if for rude boy - tkd if for hard knock - kickboxing if for lethal - bjj sorry for the terminology, take your pick
  19. you have to perform 58 jumping kicks for your black belt in kickboxing, i would presume that would be the highest number possible however i feel nothing can rival sport tkd
  20. i started as well when i was 13 to prodigy child, bullying and street crime is a major problem, ecspecailly where i live martial arts is the key aid to help you i feel most people getting invovled are doing it for street self defense, heck it amazes me how scary the street actually is
  21. i somtimes i have this problem of going to easy on people, just not going as hard as how i should do, i somtimes get blamed for going too hard , when i am actaully going easy, cuz alot of people drop their guard constantly, like you would never beleive, so i tap them in the head, and the instructors are like "dont go too hard" , cuz no matter how light, a kick to the head always look brutal however in terms of the other peolple in the group, heck they fight like seikos, like that one guy i just told u about ages ago, who is got his 1st degree now, jus cuz i am the same heigt of him, regardless of the belt, he kicks my head in proper, i hate those type of people, jus because their such good fighters, they feel they can treat their opponents like ****, and try experimental moves on us dont go too easy if they go hard on you, go harder at them back peace

  23. aswell i am also sorry to YODA, three60roundhouse , you mention "stunting your growth", well i have a clear message for that "dont weight-lift when your are under 16" i can stress it more than that
  24. im 5'9, roughly same weight i suggest kickboxing, and if i was you i would leave now, cuz your gonna get a crap load of "its what suits you, is the right art of you" talk, and your just gonna get no where only jokin lassie
