there must be another main fundamental reason why the speedball is beneficial the suggestions you gave before were more of a generalisation with all machines they focus on one thing Punch bag - punchin, and helps build muscle abs machine works your abs treadmill - you use it for running and to loose weight speedball - ????

hey all i would imagine that you all have heard, about the plane crash in a small building in italy from what i heard , i here that the plane was a small one, and probably had no association with terrorism, but i feel this maybe an excuse to carry the offensive on terrorism to more extrem bondaries what do you feel about the recent events in italy?

eifel 65 hahahahaha , only joking hmm, its seems that we have alot of rap haters down here, common where are my rap brothers at, rock will never rule the music business, rap is becoming an ever growing music art and it is the richest music industry so far so there -ad

buddhas , i was the one who posted the ling kong jing forum b4, it didnt seem to get many replies which i feel is mainly because many people dont believe in it Rich money is a great martial artist, and he has been put in the martial art hall of fame, he has been growing ever since his full demonstration and understanding of lin kong jing, wouldnt you think Buddhas that if Rich Mooney was completely faking it that he would have been one of the most popular martial artists in the world and be put in the martial arts hall of fame??, i would most certainly say no, i know what he practises his slightly obtrusive and as you said , sceptical, but there must be some truth behind it all for him to go this far if you are still interested, go to this internet site, and view the video demonstrations http://www.geocities.com/sijai2000

Need Help
ad replied to masamune's topic in Kung Fu, JKD, Wing Chun, Tai Chi, and Chinese Martial Arts
if you want to learn a three sectional staff then i suggest ho-gar kung fu, if you can find it, or some other external kung fu art, but no wing chun, however dont expect to learn the three sectional staff straight away, i would imagine you would at least need to have a year of experience or have to be a black belt in order to start learning it but if you cant wait then try out a book, the best way to learn the three sectional staff in my view is to first to learn the basic nunchaka then to advanced, when your comfortable with the nunchaka , then move to the three sectional staff. -
i understand what you are saying mo, buts how you distingquish oneself to another in terms of experience is what i am questioning, i know for a fact that wing chun doesnt incorporate belts, but i understand that there some sort of ranking system, or a progression routine where you go from beginner - intermediate - expert??
-
yes but it can also be a downside, since if you already have a violent criminal past, then having a black belt in martial arts isnt going to help on top of that if you want to apply to uni or a job

thnx jack, but um the speedball isnt what you depicted , its a tiny ball placed against a wall, and you just keep on smacking it with a hammerfist , - i think , watch rocky im sure you will see he uses it yoda you mention that its very beneficial, but how is it ??, what does it improve, that what i want to know!!! thnx for the input, keep them comming

thnx for clearing that up pat -
there is a best stance, but i think you have to be more specific, the best stance for sparring - the best stance when being kicked at or punched at etc....

i am considering to get a speed ball as its my birthday today and i was wondering whether its actaully worth it, i bought a punch bag last year for my b/d and its really worth it, since i use it like everyday, and i will use the speed ball everyday but how does it benefit me in the long term or the short term, what does it improve?? its hard to see whether repetive punching seems to do anything need your feedback, thnx peace -ad

i heard from an anaymous source that martial arts, ecspecially the high kicking arts, mainly tkd, causes arthirits early, and increases the chance of getting it

phantasmatic, which city or state are the cubs from, we have heard of them down here in merry ol england but i never knew where they came from? -
Aeries but i dont believe in it at all
-
its best to be balanced and both quick at the same time, its actually very hard to find one stance which is a balance of both

i dont know how it is with the other arts but with the type of kung fu and kickboxing that i study, if your a black belt, your damn good, there is no such things as a minimum number of required lesson or not, if you cant do the techniques and prove you can fight well then you earn it, there aint no set time, i know people who have been brown belt for all there lives and never achieved a black belt because you have to be that good i know there are alot of mcdojos out there but regardless of that, if your a black belt , you can fight, and the chances are he/she could kick your ass
