That is very interesting, but who said anything about Japanese bowing? lol, I can't speak for many, but I have taken 2 Japanese martial Arts, and I've alway all bowed from the waist, head down, the lowest rank going lowest. The only thing I don't do it the hand palcement you talked about in the end. I've normally bowed hand at my side.

My teacher wanted us to kick high, but he taugh that the lower the kick, the more power you have. I got into Jujitsu, and really found out. So many things you can do to someone at even a waist level kicks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the guys in my class is really into Meditation, and he told me a story last night about a thief in California who meditated to the point the could burglarize someone’s house while they were asleep in the same room. He apparently got caught because his girlfriend ratted him out. I’m wondering who heard this story, and how true it is real? How much of that is him being aware, and who much is him just being stealthy, and how much is Urban legend?

If you have no dojo's and no one to train with, maybe Martial Arts arn't the best thing to comtenue. As a Wrestler, you also know the basics of cardio work and weight lifting, why not one of those? Those can be done better without a parnter and/or master then Martial Arts. But, as for a Martial Art, you should try for Jujitsu.

Green belt Isshinryu Karate, Yellow belt Jujitsu, 6 years boxing.

Everyone gets there turn with the master. We have an odd nubmer of people, so the odd man out will stand in front of the Sensei, and attack him in some way, and the sensei will respond. I like it, it is a good way to learn. As for demo's for the class and vistors, there are 4 guys ranked higher then me, and the Sensei will pick on them first...

I think people believe they can take 2 Jujitsu classes and be the next Teto. The basics are so dull, learned to fall takes time, and throwing isn’t easy either. I think people start to get discouraged when they get there yellow belts and still can’t face Teto. Jui Jitsu has been getting pretty popular with the UFC getting to popular but people don’t understand Jui Jitsu take TIME to learn!

So, AJJ is more of a sport then anything? I like it, It sounds interesting.

No joke. Judo doesn't have rule, Judo matches have rules! Judo is a sport, anyone who reads the Kodokan knows that, but do you think a Judoka is going follow the rule when he getting into trouble on the street?

Actually, Paladins where first used at the titles of the 12 peers of Charlemagne. That right, the Same 12 that filling the ranks of the round table. Paladin's are mostly legends. So, where do get these Flame throwers and automatic weapons and rocket launchers?

Man, sounds like you got shafted. Maybe you should get like a orange belt, just so you know the Basics of Karate, so you can go back next year and make them eat it. Or, just stick to Kung Fu events. That just isn't right. I guess it would have been best for you to learn a little about Japanese Arts, but still, if they invite Chinese Artist to the event, they should shown some courtesy!

Tie a rope across to poles about nipple-shoulder height, then stand next to it, in your fighting stance, and side step under it. You should come out in your fighting stance on the other side, then side step back. That is a great one. Work on getting the rope lower.
