  1. it was done by some guy (forgot his name) not by many ppl or a poll or research, nothin this top 10 list is really wrong, silat and kajukenbo should be in there tkd+karate wtf is goin on what bothers me the most is that people are gonna be ,misinformed now
  2. i bought a natural supplement called joint+ and we'll see how it works out
  3. i studied karate and ninpo and than i got in a fight and i lost ( i had a yellow belt in each) i didn't fight the way i trained at all, and so i started studying bjj and boxing and am pleased with the results , you do don fight how you train, i tried fighting in horse stance and i got killed, you need to train in practical martial arts that let you build confidence in your techniques , through sparring you can see for yourself if the techniques work or not, and thats why such arts as jkd, bjj, muay thai, judo, are gaining such popularity because they work under stress and you can rely on the techniques you have drilled in, and for those people that believe that we practice eye gouges and stuff are just covering up because they don't have a good ma. i studied one of these mcdojo arts and was very disapointed when i had to use my skills in combat(https://www.tonyblauer.com) i also agree that you will not be able to use your very detailed techniques in combat when your body releases an adrenaline dump, people also don't realise how hard it will be to strike a specific point on the body during combat , gross motor skills should be trained to create a good martial artists , this is why back in the old ufc ,royce destroyed the traditionalists, because they were using what they thought would work instead of what actually works (just my opinion, plz don't get all worked up)
  4. i competed against a catch wrestler, tough opponent but , he needed to work more on his submissions they were a bit ,you could say unreliable
  5. srry not sifu , i don't call him that hes just a purple belt in bjj my sifu/sigung/guro was away when this happened
  6. his sifu fought my sifu and got his got his ass kicked , so a few of his students came in to take revenge if you will
  7. i would my sifu/guro/master is a master in maphilindo and kuntao silat but....i can't go to that class because it is during my bjj class
  8. exactly, hes like oh you should never go to the ground and thats why we don't do ground fighting and that he could just roll out of my technique like i put a kimura on him from guard and he rolled but when he stopped i still had the kimura on and hes like oh thats just luck ,
  9. when was this pride 13?thats the last time i saw them fight, ya what happened to the brazilian killer, sak got his face rearranged
  10. i think bjj has the best groundfighting but lacks striking and needs work on the takedowns
  11. i fought this guy who asked me to spar at the gym 2day ,his style is not important, and before we spared he wanted me to show him some moves so i showed him a few and tried teaching him them, when i tried teaching him the techniques (as i was showing him) he was resisting stating that my techniques wouldn't work and that i would not be able to use them do any of you ever been in this situation how did you prove your techniques did work, p.s. when we sparred i put him to sleep (rear naked choke)
  12. jet li for sure , hes no match for my bjj, spinning turtle attack
  13. woooooooooooooooooo kyle-san, you can't argue with nature leverage works always
  14. im actually feeling strain on my knees and shoulders also ,im goin to pick up a bottle tomorrow and see for myself if it works
  15. start by running....alot, if you have a treadmill available to you thats a good place to start, to build up your endurance( you'll need it) and you should be training at least 3 times a week but if you want to get good, fast than i suggest you start training 3 times a week and than if you feel you can handle it, start goin four times a week than 5 should be your goal, at 5 times a week you should become a decent fighter in no time good luck ,
