i own a real bokken, a hanbo, a kubaton, an extendable baton, a 357 magnum (airsoft) and like 2 or 3 sets of throwing knives -

do they teach krav maga or kickboxing, krav maga , is an isreali self defense method, using kicks,knees,punches,throws,takedowns,disarms,grappling, any means necessary to defeat an opponent and research ur instructor to make sure hes the real deal, and contact his instructor to see if he has good things to say!!! im a beginner in bjj( 4months) and i really like the basics, but i don't feel comfortable with alot if not most of tha advanced techniques im learning, should i chose to learn only those which i like? or should i learn them all evwn though alot( 50%) of them i really wouldn't use? or should i only absorb what i find usefull, and disregard what i don't? your help would be appreciated

i just recently bought an atama sigle weave, i think the double weave is too thick and unrealistic also im not comfortable in it, my gi is blue and it costs 80$ u.s. -

move onto another submission than after class ask the instructor to check if you are doin the technique properly or make him sleep, maybe he just wants to be a tough guy, i have friends like that, i apply a perfect rear-naked choke and they almost sleep, than when i let them go, they're like , i could of got out make him sleep -
actually i was in a fight this past weekend the guy (at least 200lbs) threw me to the floor than continued to pass my guard, i didn't let him , i punched him a few times and then when he was goin for the ankle lock , he missed a step in the technique that prevents me from getting up, anyways i got up and kicked him in the face a few times , okay i understand ur side of the argument and it isn;t necessary to learn how to grapple, but it is necessary to learn how to deal with a grappler

im a yellow belt in ninjutsu(genbuakan) as well as a yellow belt in karate (issinryyu) as well as a level 5 in blauer tactical systems (tonyblauer.com) presently i study bjj and i love it, its so practical and efficient and it flows very well (white belt) i have been studying martial arts for almost a year
