  1. yea, im not gonna wash it. i guess ill just keep doing as you said pacificshore. im just gonna work it in like i have been. i just thought someone might know a better way.
  2. hey guys, when you get a new belt, it is all hard and stiff. how do you guys soften up your belts? i want to break it in but i dont know how. i just twist it up and basically just mess around with it. it softens it up a little but do you guys have any better methods?

  17. great job Amy!! i will be testing for my hapkido green belt very soon, probably next week. hopefully i'll be at brown someday. keep up the great work!!
  18. not a big deal dude. its better to be a good white belt than a bad yellow belt. it all depends on the person. some people can learn things in a couple months, for you it may be a little longer, but you will eventually get it. just keep going to class and train hard.

  21. in my school, we use the korean word for stop which is "gomahn". i suppose that if a trained martial artist hear "stop" they might hesitate a little, but i think with the adrenaline rush and your heart pounding and your mental focus, you probably wouldnt even hear someone yelling "stop".
