  5. It looks good but i had never heard of it till seeing your post. Why not see if you can get it cheap from ebay?
  6. Kickboxer with Jean Claude Van Damme...absolutley fantastic. I was wanting to collect the whole lot of them but after having kickboxer 1, 3 and 4 i was having difficulty getting the second one until last week i found it on ebay, not very cheap though!. Anyway on the front cover of kickboxer 2 it says "better than kickboxer". I totally disagree, it isnt a bad movie i did enjoy it, especially the fight scenes and i think sasha mitchell is a good fighter and actor. I just think kickboxer 2, 3, 4 were cheaply made and a let down, whereas the first one was brill! What do you guys think? Kez
  7. I'm not sure i know what you mean, can you explain a little please? Kez
  8. ooooooooo this sounds good. Is it coming out in the pictures karate k? I also love the die hard movies. Bruce willis is fab and he has an amusing cheeky side in these movies too! The first one is the best though. Kez x

  11. I'll remember that one jaymac, talk to myself while training. Maybe keep repeating to myself what sensei says
  12. Jaymac says it all...well done hun. Skipping a grade is an honour in itself. I skipped a belt once and my face was beaming for weeks i was so proud. You are right to be proud..congratulations and keep up the good work. Kez x
  13. Hehe mine does exactly the same, any movement and the gi top is half way up my body all crunched up above my belt. I'm forever pulling it down. I have no idea why it does this, it seems to be a good fit, maybe it's because i'm so skinny round the waist.
  14. Sly Stallone is wicked, what a guy! And yeah he does look good for 60. Have you seen his mother? She was in celebrity big brother, not sure what to make of her really Roll on monday for the next episode of the contender! Wish sly was still in it.
  15. Cheers bushido i will do that Kez x
  16. This is exactly what i'm like. Last night i wasn't impressed with my lesson, not because i was making mistakes but because i wasn't able to do my grading work properly because i was asked to do it with a lower grade and he didn't have a clue. When i got home i realised this lad had never done that before and i was like that once....it's all about learning. Karate does equal life. I am happier, more confident, fitter ect. And karate gives me something in life FOR ME. I have my kids who i adore and do everything for, but my karate is just something for me, something i am very passionate about and work hard for.
  17. A very exciting area you live in then karate k hehe
  18. Hmmm i was told i had good stomach muscles! Tut
  19. I answered the door the other day in my training pants, they are a pair of them satin one's and a vest top. I was actually training in my house! Luckily the guy was a salesman and he didnt stand around long enough for me to tell him to push off! Try that one guys if your fed up of them knocking haha
  20. There's me told lol This is probably a really thick question but what are your abs? Kez
  21. While i was away last week visiting my brother we had a game of poker. We didnt play for real money but for chips. I am not a gambler in the slightest I just enjoy the game and think it's fun. The thing is i'm not sure my brother knew the rules properly because since being back i bought a game of it for my pc and it seems to be played differently. Can anyone give me a quick run down of the rules and what the terms mean like 'check' ect. Cheers. Kez x
  22. Hmm Manchester..Uk. Lots of theatres and the air and space museum, the since and industry museum. Galleries. Granada studio's. To travel for an hour or so you can go to Blackpool or rhyl which are seaside attractions.
  23. Hey i was born in Northern Ireland. Londonderry, Ballykelly. I didn't get to stay, it was 1977 and i was an army baby. Was sent home with all the other soldiers wives and children because of all the fighting going on there at that time. So i didn't get to see any of it.
  24. I know i often post on here with various health problems. I was happy to find this one on the forums because i often have pain somewhere and i am always worrying about it. So anyway here goes with what happened. I was bending the other day, as i risen i had dreadful pain in the small of my back. It was so bad i couldn't move and i was fixed in that same position for several minutes. It has happened another time again since then. Also since this has been happening the small of my back has been aching, it's like a dull ache and doesn't particulary cause me great distress. It's the sharp shooting pains in my back when i bend that worries me because it totally paralyses me because i just cannot move. I know this could be various things, posture, bending etc. I'm just hoping it won't effect my karate training. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Kez x
  25. Doesn't the supporting leg have to bent slightly to get that 'bounce' feeling when your snapping out the kicking leg?
