I dont have much of a choice - I dont get anything other than statutory sick pay which is a pittance - so I either use up my holiday days or dont get paid. Neither is a good option when you are a single mum! I don't like being off work for something as simple as a cold, I tend to just keep my distance from other workers. However in a dojo you do work much closer with people, contact is unavoidable and as such I would stay off - besides, if one session will set you back that much that you cant afford to miss it then maybe you arent training as effectively?

I am so heartbroken, C4 have been outbid for series 3 by Sky so I dont know when I will get to see it!!!!!

Best best best way to ask for a girls number is very cliche. I cannot say how it feels to have a guy who is trying to make you laugh and is being attentive - not sleazy. Nerves only make us realise how much you actually want to ask for our number. If a guy is too slick and practised we are put off by this and immediately on our guard. My advice is just to go for it - you don't need to practise lines. Try not to work youself up before hand - dance with lots of girls, and dont go towards each one expecting to ask for their number. Go to have fun and the rest will come naturally.

Patience my dear Kez is a virtue - he will get there eventually and am sure seeieng you excited over going for a wee will help. Kids dont like to feel pressure, I know its hard watching him have accidents and the like but kids dont react well to threats and orders - the best thing I found with Shannon was to just let her be. I know this might not work for all kids but she found her way by herself eventually.

Just a quickie (no comments please!). Its Sunday - 3 days after op - have completely torn my cruciate ligament. Doc doesnt know how I have been walking and training like I have been (must be the superhero in me!!). Basically got to have reconstructive surgery in few months time so am out of action for a loooong time. But I am not giving up hope x Hmm have just found out recovery from reconstructive surgery can be up to 6 months. Not good

What happens when that show finally ends.....????? Why would you say such a thing? You will give me nightmares!!!!!

I think if I started calling my Mum Sensei Karen she would think I had a knock to the head. Or my step dad - Sensei David lol Seriously though I dont think most Sensei's make an issue of etiquette towards them outside of class. Actually though - if we broke etiquette in regards to scrapping outside of scool we would be pulled up about that - so why is etiquette towards your sensei any different? Hmmmm food for thought.

Ok so here I go proof you shouldnt even date fellow students. Just split up with someone, he has since pretty much dropped out of training and as such i have lost my mum two members. Great stuff!!
