  7. I do know what you mean - but at the end of the day they are there to do a job. The employer wouldnt employ them if they were not fit and able enough to do the job. They got to make a living like the rest of us?
  8. Bushido man I will let you off - I have done it often enough Kez he was ok - no Sawyer though!!! He gave me a few exercises such as standing on my stairs with my bad leg and slowly bending it up and down. He says its all about control really, as at the moment I tend to walk etc quickly to avoid the pain.

The way we teach our kids is to swing your knee up to the side first, flick the kick, keep your alance with your arms out and bring the knww back to the same position. Only then do you drop back into zenkutsi (yes i know its spelt wrong) dachi. It probably depends on the style of karate too. As bushido man says he does the roundhouse kick then lands forward, our style we practise against a pad dropping backwards.

  19. Boy can he move!!! He is brilliant
  20. I agree - Crouching Tiger was much more of a traditional MA film in my opinion. Yes it relied on camera trickery (is that a word?) but it got top marks for true style. I would go with street fighter though, and Raul Julia (RIP) was veeerrryy scary, not in a good way.
  21. True I guess it was some time ago. Just found that Martial Law is on reruns at moment on a channel I didnt even know I had!!
  22. Bit achey - had first physio this morning so it was bound to be a bit more tender. Just hoping dont need surgery Hope you get better soon daft thing!
  23. Ta guys x Had physio this morning - typical though I get a male and havent shaved my legs
  24. I think it depends on the club - we are primarily a family club and are a lot more traditional than a lot of shukokai clubs I have seen in our vicinity
