  1. they can be close to a ninja but aren't ninja's. Diffrent training. More with computers technology. Less with ninja pajama's and home made smoke bombs.
  2. On second thought I would send a HAPPY MEAN CERTIFICATE with the belt! LOL
  3. I don't do McDojo thing, but a McBlackBelt with a side of fries absoultely! I will send the belt but not a certificate lol!
  4. bjj has gone the same way as taekowndo. With more schools focusing on the sport aspect comapred to self defense aspects. although still harder to get a black belt in bjj then it is in taekwondo in my opinon.
  5. thats why I mentioned earlier about resistant training same as live training.
  6. *shakes head* to many people day dream about this stuff since they wer children and adults degress and think about to the same romanticzing the times of Ninja, samurai warriors, ceasers roman legions, and all other over romanticzed times of history. Past is past, acient ninja techniques are not near as effective because of modern technology and natural progression put behind us alot of times. Gun put swords, and bow's and arrows as things of past not as widley use. Technology put alot of old tactics to rest as well. aciient ninja stealth techniques aren't as pritority as modern day technology, DNA test, spy wear, video camera's and what not. You want a modern day ninja good CIA operative in regular clothes with lap top at his desk, or some special forces units, or other espionage orginazitions are modern day ninja's. Past is the past.
  7. You can earn one today. Send me $3,000 dollars and I will send you a $10 dollar black belt.
  8. I have same experience form my an old isntructor of mine also.
  9. I trained in it. I like how they at least recognize the idea of striking and stand up and ground grappling ranges. I just don't care for how they excute moves or particular moves they use to get to it. Let me k now how the MMA school goesfor you.
  10. Glad you got the Joke! Yes its from the Karate kid.
  11. I am skeptical of those claims. Even so the days of home made smoke bombs and such is over modern day ninja's in my opinion would be like CIA Operatives, under cover law enforcement, and special operation military forces. Not much point in learning Ninjitsu most teachers either teach some form of martial arts and wear ninja gear andcall them selves ninja's or dojo's focus on the empty hand techniques of Ninjitsu called taijitsu. Just my opinion
  12. alot of people had important influnces on the martial arts. Depends on what style and the history. Some people are more important in your eyes then others.
  13. Tiger schulmans huh? I don't know much about the prices and poclicy but I hear they done well in jiu-Jitsu tournaments and mma events I believe also. I only heard this from mma thread on a diffrent forum. Thats all I know of. I recomend going around and checking ddiffrent places out I know alot of schools offer free trial lesson or some trial program that isn't to expensive so try those out and go to the place that you like the best and feel most comfortable with. So many factors when choosing a school, your ability to afford the asking price, how you like the training and how it fits to your goals you have as to why you want to study, How comfotable you feel with the instructor and other students. So best thing is jump off the net nad start looking around.
  14. ALL OF THEM!!! Take them out! Remember on this forum MERCY if for the WEAK! Pain does not exist in this forum Fear does not exist in this forum. I kill! I kill! Put them in a body bag viskous! yeah!
  15. hwa rang do focus more on joint locks and throws then tkd, or am I thinking hapikido? Or hear haw rang do was specially for rolyal body guards.
  16. depends on how much you train on your own time. If its just one class a week and you don't do any thing on your off time that relates to that class the progress will be slow especially if something comes up and you miss that week. 2 or 3 times a week is more ideal because you can keep up with what the instructors teaching. especially if some one else signs up at the same time you do but they are doing 2 or 3 times a week your doing once. It can be frusterating because alot of people measure there progress by what others are doing at the same level. Any way just enjoy your training if you can some excericse outside of bjj will help your training especially cardio work and stretching.
  17. what a jacked up org. People spend there money on that crap. I am sorry if I was TKD and belonged to the ATA Org they would kick me out. I can't stand others telling me I can't compete or trian in other styles. To controling for me.
