I am basically looking for some information on good nutrition in order to help me get my 6 packabs and improve my metabolism so if people could suggest the sort of things i should eat and when that would be great becasuse im far more likely to stick to somthing if someone else has given me something to do
  4. OMG thats so weird im just drinking some that i bought today and this thread appears. Basically although there is no scientific evidence i belive that its good for u because its a plant substance and most of them are good for u so why not tea? i also only drink plain green tea precisly for the reason that DWx pointed out

Well basically i have been trying to get defined abs for about 3 months now but although i have put on more muscle in my abs they feel defined however they dont look defined ie not aesthetic well you might say that the problem is my body fat percentage is too high however i am prettty sure its not i have lost about an inch and a half from my waist line and i now weigh about 57kg so i really dont want to loose any more weight or get any thinner or buying nice clothes will be difficult as 28' is the smallest waist size most shops go to. Also i belive if i get any lighter it will be unhealthy so how do i get defined abs? my current training program consists of leg raises and sit ups and some v ups altho i dont like these. When i can get to the gym i use an abs machine this seems to work better as weight is involved but i have nothing like this at home the only equipment i have is dumbells advice needed
  9. I like my height im only 5'6 and im 17 so i suppose its possible i could grow its something i cant change by choice so im happy about it

  13. Your right it is very dangerous my friend has damaged his kneee and has been out for about 5 months plus another 6 months after he has an op. If you do it be careful

  15. Haha i have tried some moves but im not sort of the flipping type some of my mates do it and are even starting up a club at school. I like it its awsome to watch and very good body conditioning

  18. i agree about wire work im not the biggest fan i hated crouching tiger hidden dragon. I am a massive fan of jackie chan i love the way he uses everyday objects as weapons.
  19. I’m looking for a bit of advice. I am not sure what to do really. The situation is this I am a 1st kyu in shotokan karate and have been doing this since I was about 8. Recently as I am doing my a levels I haven’t been able to train regularly as obviously revision for my modules is my main prioritory as I need good grades to get into uni. I have really lost the motivation for karate and I don’t see the point of set techniques and forms basically because nobody will attack like that and it doesn’t benefit your improvisation skills. I will have to leave in September anyway as I will be going to uni. So I don’t see the point in continuing to train. I still love martial arts but I want a more realistic approach in the martial arts that I take. I wanted to do JKD but the problem is the closest club is about 30miles away and as I cant drive this is a problem. So im trying to decide what to do for the next 9 months. Should I train myself? This is a cheaper option but it will be hard to motive myself as training alone isn’t much fun and not really useful for self defence as you not training with anyone. Should I go to another club for 9months? I have no idea what martial art I would take. Im also quite small 5.7 and weigh 58kg so a martial art such as Judo wouldn’t suit me. There are only really 3 choices of clubs around my area, Shotokan, Aikido and TKD. None of these really appeal to me. Any ideas will be welcome. Thanks
  20. I think the best piece of ab equiptment i own is my bed. What i do is laay flat down on it and grab hold of one of the uprights at either end of the bed. I then holding onto that lift my hips of the ground and then do leg raises these really do kill and i can only manage sets of 10 but they work.

  22. No matter how strong your weapon is there will always be something it cannot penetrate. Im thinking a katana couldnt cut through a meter thick piece of lead. In my opinion though its probably the best sword ever made due to its design. But at the end of the day its really 1% sword 99% User
  23. Sounds like something he should be doing in his own time if he cuts himself then so what at least other people are ok and also its destroying good training time i think you should speak to ur sensei on this one
