  1. Thanks guys on the "well dones" it was bloody hard but worth it. fangshi what are PLYOMETRICS ive never heard of them. and how long would be a good time to run for? as far as a diet im on the spartan health ragime so i am quite healthy, so much so that a pint of beer gets me a lil drunk lol

Ok from next week thursday i finish work and have until september until i have to go back. i have all day every day to train. my sensei said to me on thursdays lesson that i can do all my kicks really well i just need to perfect them now. my goal is to get fit as i am slacking after 2 months of hardly any training as i was coming to the end of my colege course (which i compleeted yesterday and passed ) i also have grading in august and have the syllabus to practice from so my goal is to perfect that. im going to be fighting this really big stong guy when i go for my belt and i would let do gain some strength too. my equipment is a weight bench and weights 2 thai pads and 2 focus pads. and i can only use the pads when my neighbour aint busy. i was thinking of doing a morning run doing kickboxing for 2 hours and in the afternoon do weight training for 2 hrs. any advice on what i could do.   4. im the same as in when i do this kick i find it easier to swing my leg. i usually do a katate round house kick as thats what ive been taught at kickboxxing so its different. but practice makes perfect
  5. Ha yes i know that only to well the warm up is so tough that its hard to keep your guard on when practicing your techniques, but its the only way to train and i love to push my self to the limit.

  7. ^^ yeah for the firt year when i trained i only trained once a week at class and a bit my self maybe 2 or 3 days a week and i got so much fitter i think thai and kickboxing are most def the best to build your stamina.

  11. yes i do he was a green belt in either karate or kung fu and acording to the author of fighting sprit the bruce lee biog he had to pay his way to get it lol.
  12. welldone:) ive been stuck on my temp green for over a year now. ive missed 3 gradings due to different injurys and im not going to get to grade until xmas now because ill be on holiday when the summer grading is happening:(
  13. You should try eating the rice in the middle of the day and that way you can burn of the energy from the complex carbs. eat meat and veg for dinner as its easier to digest

  15. yeah ive seen that, in his knew film he knees the guy outta window of a building like he did in ong back but this is a really tall building and out in to the street Jackie Chan, Jet Li and Tony Ja are my faves
  16. i hate nerves i get them so bad when i get in to the ring well not getting in but the waiting ive had stage fright since i was young and hate doing things in front of crowds and my mates always come in groups and film it which makes it worse lol

I Love going out clubbing with my mates and dancing til 6 in the morning. i love doing that, MA has given me the staminia to dance and jump up and down non stop to drum and bass for 6 hrs while everyone else there needs to do drugs for that:D i also love spitting im really in to hardcore rap and alot of the underground uk scene as most of UK rap is rubbish. i also really enjoy my job as a nursery teacher.
  18. i forget what the name of the weight machine i use is called i think its the leg curl. when i do these i have no problem until i get to about 80kgs i can carry on doing more reps and even heavier but when i do my left calf muscle starts to cramp up and i have to stop. i do my warm up and a propper stretch i also keep my self hydrated so i'm not sure what the problem. also it used to happen once a month that i would wake up in the middle of the night and have cramp in the exact spot on my left claf now it happnes less but still too much for my liking. i sleep curled up and when i stretch my legs out in the morning im cool but as soon as i start to point my feet and toes straight i can feel the cramp coming on in my left calf. i dont know why but it is always the same leg and the same spot.

  21. i tore my left claf muscle the night before my forst ever grading. i just took a few pain killers and did the test no problem, but the next day i could hardly walk abnd it took 8 weeks before it got better lol
  22. i like the good old fashioned jab reverse round house kick some times ill throw a few single rounds to the body and often the fighter gets used to blocking them so then i doule it up and bring the second to the head. its just practice and the more you do you will find the combos or set ups that work for you.
