ive said this in alot of other threads but i like running to the end of the hall doing 10 pressups and running back then doing the same but change the exercise to crunches, alternets, star jumps and then burpees. you can do this in sets of 5 then 10 then 15 or even 20 but i prefer to start with 10 and then when 1 set is finished work down to 9 the 8 all the way to 1 with out a break. i also like to do ultimate burpees search for the burpree threead in this section for the discription. aslo running sparing skipping and shaddow boxing are great. i also use my bike to travel to most places and go fast enough to build up a sweat i have cut my journey to work from 20mins down to 14.

if you want to improve your grip strength try the famers walk. get 2 buckets or a container with a handle wthat will hold over 5L of water and fill them up and walk up and down your street holding them for as long as possible. you can also try doing it on one side and keeping your back straight this will also help work the muscles down the opposite side as you are trying tio keep your back straight.

Yeah thats right. look at rocky 4 usa vs russia. after drago kills apollo rocky challanges him to fight for revenge and it has to on the russians terms. then rocky trains in the snow lifting rocks and chopping wood and using all these old skool traing methods and drago is in the warm gym with all the latest equipment and it even shows him using steroids. wow i dont know how they could have made the russians look any worse. -
yeah he was a great fighter one of my all time faves.... but i still think in his prime tyson would have ate him alive.

my knees always crack when i do squats but it doesnt hurt butr feels uncomfortable. their is a history of knee problems in my family my gran and two of my aunts have plastic knees and my mum will need them soon to so when i do squats with weights i do squats in the horse stance.

i follow the spartan health regime and im in the best shape ive ever been in.

i get soooooooo nervous before my tourneys and my grading to the point it actually affects my performance. even in class when my sensei asks us what we think we need to improve on and i say he always gets me infront of the class to do the technique and they give me a score out of ten and its always between 8-10. my sensei says that i am good but i just dont have any self beliefe/ confidence, and he is right. ive been thinking about being hypnotised to help with the nerves but i would rather just be able to get over it.

im not 100% sure but i think you can do that in the season mode in the UFC game on the dreamcast. i was playing that on fridaynight with aload of my mates after watching about 5 hrs of pride and ufc dvds that game is addictive. well if you read previous posts,you will see that I recomended the K-1 game.As for the ufc game,it's out on Playstation 2 also.ok.... but theres no need to make a post stating it. and i did read them but i must have missed that. i just ordered the k1 game off ebay on the psone since i dont have any of the new systems, it only cost me £3. -

in kickboxing my sensei always told me to never cross my hands when blocking but in muay thai they teach that as one of the blocks i never use it because i dont see the point as someone can just grab u and tthrow an elbow in and you are also leave your stomach wide open.
