  1. I played guitar for a while, before it was smashed in a pre-christmas drunken evening by my father... :/
  2. Welcome to the forums
  3. First of all Maciej, welcome to the boards! Feel free to make an introduction post in the Introductions section if you wish And in response to what you've said, I agree. The majority of teenagers seem to roughly matched what you've said, but there are a definite few, such as some I've made friends with, which aren't like that at all. You have a definite point, though
  4. Thanks very much Shaolin, that was a very interesting and informative post Yes I've also heard of Pak-Sao and then double handed Pak-Sao or single handed Chi-Sao and steps up to learning Chi-sao, however I'm not too sure on how they work. Would you care to share any info? Thanks in advance
  5. Welcomes to the both of you, but yes, as kicker said, please refrain from putting pictures in your signature thank you
  6. I'm no Muay Thai practicioner myself, but the style of Muay Thai's kicks are more orientated around low, basic, yet efffective kicks for maximun result. They don't employ the flashy kicks you detailed. Muay Thai is a very down to earth, realistic fighting system.
  7. ROFL David, that actually made me laughed... and I'm pretty damn sombre atm... ta loads, I did another search on google with some variations of parametres and found some stuff just fine... thanks again, lol
  8. Great to hear Patrick, those downtimes were starting to irritate me!
  9. Bon, already tried that, could not find anything of discernable use
  10. Sai, don't worry for me darling, I'm fine and I'm not nearly as broody as I can soemtimes appear. Jen's depressed though at the moment, I do everything I can to help in whatever ways I can, but I must admit it leaves me a little drained, its well worth it though. But, I'm fine, keeping chin up with a smile on my face, don't worry!
  11. If anybody knows some websites with brief histories of China, Japan, or Korea, please let me know. I'm considering writing a story set in one of those countries, so any sorts of background information would be more than welcome
  12. I was practicing some hip throws with my Ju Jitsu friend at school at lunch time once, and the button on my school trousers went *ping* and flew off... I borrowed some selotrape in maths and tried to tie it up, which all failed, so I had to walk around with my hands in pockets holding trousers up all day! lol..

    Hi

Welcome Jared, you planning on staying here after dad's return?
  14. lol, sorry Sai I was being very serious then... I guess the passing away of my cat, grandad, and girlfriend's mate in december, along with some current stuff has got me thinking. I have plenty of fun though, don't you worry lol and I am not wise, merely a rambling fool that can chuck long words into anything to make it seem intelligent thanks anyway
  15. YODA, I've played it on the Dreamcast.. its nothing amazing but its worth half an hour Now.... Shenmue and Shenmue II, those two games on the Dreamcast are simply amazing!
  16. I remember that, from when Deby posted it. Its very interesting, I took a lot of it to heart
  17. Head and groin, followed by knees.

  19. Welcome Bretty
  20. Welcome to the forums
  21. The first pattern of WTF is Chon-Ji, and begins with A low block and a punch, and the first pattern of the ITF style is typically Palgwue Il Jang, which begins with a low block then a middle block.
  22. I think mastertae has written quite a few short one in this forum... try checking the Taekwondo and Kung Fu sections for some of his posts
