  6. Sounds like you teach really great and challenging classes - too bad we're so far away from eachother - I'd love to check-out one of your cardio classes (I Kickbox). Balance is something that's diffucult to master for me - I'm constantly working on it and my instructor gets us to do alot of similar drills to improve it. Lori
  7. I believe that steroids have no place in sports - or anywhere else for that matter. I was totally disgusted that Mark MacGuire - someone who is a "role model" for kids - was given the world record because in my opinion he cheated. As far as I'm concerned he's a fake and a cheat If you can't play fair, then don't play at all. Lori
  8. Oh they're proper!!!!!!!! My back is much stronger too, as I had to learn to tense those muscles in order to keep my back straight, as well as my abs. Nobody in our school does "girlie" push-ups!! Lori

Damn Deby , you're just like my instructor Sandie - she doubles up up on anything if we complain about it and she also gets us to do the "machine-gun" kicks too, but with a twist: Front-kick, Round-kick, Side-kick and finally Hook-kick - OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!! HELP!!!!! HAHAHAHA!! Seriously, you sound like a good instructor . Fortunately, I love push-ups cause I'm pretty good at them - I still remember when I couldn't even do 10!! Lori

  17. can't really justify the expense - but we're thinking about it, but I heard that once you've got one you pretty much use it all the time. I'm not much of a phone person as it is, so I don't think I'd really like it too much if people started phoning me all the time!

  22. I don't have one - don't want one either...I get really p*ssed when I see people driving while talking on them too...They're good for emergency situations, like if you're ever lost or stranded in your car . Lori

Hi, Try to practice doing the splits or a butterfly stretch - grab onto your ankles and pull the bottoms of your feet together and pull them in as much as is comfortable and then bend your upper half over. Also, if your knees are a bit sensitive as mine are - you can try doing the splits while on your knees - someone told me that it's alot less stress for your knees...works well for me. Lori
