Jack i live in England aswell, though from what i have seen, the prices of martial art training are not that expensive, how much do you actually pay if you dont mind me asking
-
Three60 - im fasting because it is ramadan and im a practicing muslim and tobias cut the cheeky comments, it aint helpin.

when i said "my martial arts training will be paused for 3 months" i mean that i will be learning my the techniques that i already know for the next 3 months, so i admit that my training will not be paused and that i will be improving my techniques but i still feel slightly dissapointed to fall behind from the others in the class.

"Meep meep, I'm going to take over the world using a small yet highly efficient bicycle" You see, I can make stupid comments as well. (I'm goodness I'm a nasty man )

hey all, i just got a real shouting by my instructor yesterday, but i really dont blame him. basically what the situation is, is that he aint gonna let me grade in december but now instead he will only let me grade next march, so basically my martial art training has been paused for 3 months, which really sort of dents my confidence and enthusiasm of it. i was not allowed to grade cuz of my punctuality and just knowing the stuff. i did pretty much know everything, it was just the nerves got the best of me and i couldnt do most stuff when my instructor did a practice grading. in terms of the punctuality problems, well ive literally put 18 lessson in out of a possible 44. You may think it cuz im lazy or whatever, but it aint, i just really havent had the time to go and train anymore, i mean i aint getting that along with the others in the club, ive got too many exams which are really stopping my from training, and plus im fasting so i dont even have the energy to train without eating. this 3 months delayed in all fairness really ticks me off, it just gonna reduce my interst in it even more.

well that aint good news for me hiya, since i am left handed

hey bon, its could to speak to you again, so what did that diet consist of?
-
i am currently dieting, and aiming to loose roughly 5-6 kilograms, 15 pounds, i am doing this by dieting a using a punch bag for cardio, though one thing on my mind and which had been suggested b4 by various forum members is that dieting will make you loose muscle, this is something that i certainly do not want but i have been told that loosing muscle is inevitable if you want to diet. Therefore i would like to ask what are the essential foods that i should eat to insure a minimal muscle loss when dieting. I know the obvious food groups such as protein, meats etc..., but are there any other foods to consider?

Dragon stance, i feel that is the best dance to use your feet and hands most effectively, and thus be most appropriate to be used in a real life combat situation

the Tao of Jeet Kune Do is a world famous book, it is slight confusing if you arent that experienced in the martial arts but if you are i wouldnt think it would be hard to understand if your looking for something more philosophical, try The Art of War by San Tzu, an anicent book with deep meanings.
-
i wouldnt think that it would be such a good idea, i would say to u to keep it in a club, its best to be safe and not have a letter requesting u to court
-
would you say that a punch bag gives you more of a cardio workout then running on a treadmill?
-
ive had some good replys, though some of things suggested are slightly inpractical for me, i really dont have the time to leave my house and do cardio kickboxing, though its a good idea to might try some shadow boxing at home, kickchick i think you mentioned something about using the punch bag which i just didnt quite understand, something about the absence of resistance and no cardio benefits, though i thought this what a punch bag DOES give u ,
-
so im on the way of perfecting that six pack with your guys advice you mentioned using cardio and i thought running could the best place to do some cardio on a treadmill, but its so damn boriiiiiiiing, honestly it is. i have a punch bag and i wondered if that will increase my cardio work out, and if so help loose weight, i mean i enjoy using the bag, but is it as effective to loose weight?? any other ideas of fun cardio

how do you go about to enter one of those?

i dont really get much sleep, its get about on average 6 hours but thats not because of the training at night thing, thats basically all what i normally get from sleep, i can imagine that isnt too good
-
the responses seem to be positive i got the idea that there was some seriously problems to be training at night though its the only time i get a chance to do actually train i also do a session of press ups and crunches at 8:30
-
i follow a strict schedule of dailiy routines consisiting of school, homework, rest and excercise. Since it is my gcse year, work has seriously put some pressure on me, and recently i had to make some serious cuts in terms of how much time i can devote to training. since i dont really have much time during the day, i decided to train at night, between the hours of 11pm to 1am, consisting of running, using the punch bag, practicing kicks forms etc... this is the really only time i have for training, other times i feel worn out and just cant continue, i just wanted to know what are other users views of me training at night, as soon as i finish training, i have a shower and then sleep straight away. is training at night suitable or what, or have you got any other suggestions of me finding time to train because i do not want to quit. thnx for you time -ad

ok we all know that there a roughly 8 full individual abs, and 4 sets of them to make the six pack. But what must a person do to work every single one no doubt there specific different cruches which work the top side of abs more than the lower abs, so which excercises work which and since we are on the subject of crunches, are they worked more if the legs are straight on the floor rather than them being bent? -ad

i dont want to majorly pump up and be like proper heavy, but i just want to do the weights so that my body is generall]y tighter, so that i can loose some fat, and just tone up, surley but not heavily overdoing the weights, and the burning of the fat, i should loose weight instead of gaining it
-
whoa , my bad, i didnt mean to say that weight lifting doesnt help you to produce muscle, of course it does, i meant to say that to my understanding weight lifting doesnt help u to loose weight, but to my recent explanation from kickchick, how helpful she is, my views are now changing, its just that im finding near impossible to loose weight!
