  1. hey thnx for the response, unfortuantely kajukenbo, jushin is looking for fighters in the usa, not the uk. Trozz, i asked about and yet still no one knows any organisation. I think there is a professional circuit which only applies to K star students.
  2. Do any of you know o how to get into the full contact fighting circuit for kickboxing in the West Midlands, UK. If not for the west midlands then what about for the uk in general, what do i have to go through or contact before entering. If anyone of you have any contact details or internet addresses then it will be most helpful thnx ad
  3. check your email pcam16
  4. This place isnt for gloating or showing off. I think i have faced enough disrespect from fellow members here purely because of my age and obvious lack of understanding. Continue this converstation without me
  5. If I were you, I would quit while I wasn't too far behind.... i still dont get you, why on earth should i quit?, im not behind?. have you got some personal vendetta against underaged blackbelts?, can i ask you what your actual ranking is in martial arts. i dont mean to be arrogant but i would appreciate it if you could explaing what you mean
  6. err okay, of course there is no chance in the world for a sixteen year old to actually deserve a blackbelt, but i mean sure when you turn 18, you instantly deserve it, sure the 5 years of training which i did doesnt matter, but the two year of training at a mc dojo to earn a black belt when your over 18 matters. right.
  7. huh? i dont follow
  8. i regret to open up this topic to say that my shoulder condition seems to be looking like a permanent affair, im not quite sure what the problem is, but i know that somehow i have aggrevated my shoulder bone by puttin too much weight on it.
  9. say what?. how can 3 minutes of skipping equal a mile of jogging? jogging a mile would roughly take about 9-13 minutes, and only about in the 8 minute will you reach your threshold in which you will be burning fat. that cannot be reached within 3minutes regardless of any excercise?
  10. interesting that you should mention this as i will be gaining my black belt next march, i will still be 16 when i recieve it. i am taking the test no different to lets say a 30 year old would take, i personally feel that i have the knowledge and discipline to deserve one
  11. i got kinda out of hand back there shroin its just that ive seen alot of forumds get just bogged down with useless info you mention to stretch your finger, how exactly do you do that?
  12. are you just here to show off or are you gonna contribute
  13. its orite if you train at home, put to train at a dojo for five days is likely to be very exhausting, i would recommend in dropping one of your martial arts at least. Also since your 14 years old u must be getting ready for your GCSEs, and there is no chance your going to be able to keep up the work load and martial arts at the same time.
  14. theswarm, i sufferend the same problem, and there was a time when i coulndt do one skip to now where i can do straight skipping for five minutes with no stopping. the main trick is to try an imagine that when the rope is coming close to your feet, dont jump up, but jump so that you will be bending your feet back so that they are trying to touch your backside, this will thus give your more room for the skip rope to pass and then you will find it more easier to skip and then pick it up from there, thats how i achieved them
  15. thanx for the advice radok, i have already ordered some supplements and looneyas, could you give specific examples of strength excercises?
  16. i never lock my elbows out, i always keep the bent at a slight angle all the time
  17. hey thanx for the advice i thought i might help you guys further in solving my problems by telling you how i got these several panes. I got mainly got the wrist pains from press ups and hitting the punch bag to much at the bottom of it where it is most hard, i got my shoulder pain from doing one handed press ups. my hips hurt because i have a dysfunctional knee problem which leads me leaning one side due to an abnormality. ive recently noticed a ringing in bones when repateled punch in the air and sharp painfull elbow pains when i do dumbell bench press.
  18. after excercising and martial art training, where i use punch bags, numerous different press ups including one handed, and weights ive started to develop painfull and weak bones. my shoulders, hips, ankle and ecspecially my wrists are hurting more and generally feeling weaker. ive been to the doctor and there is no sign of arthiritis. I do admit that i do push myself to the limit by doing more strenous excercises does anyone have any solutions to my problems?
  19. hold up i can do 60-70 straight push up about 6 one handed push ups but i cant even do ONE five finger push ups and yes i am doing the push ups and one handed right
  20. you have got to remember though that you are in still in school, and even if you think what you did was right and appropriate action the teachers might not look at it in the same way. Ive been suspended b4 for defending myself and for using EXCESSIVE force when it was cleary reasonable, keep the fights outside of school no matter how tempting it is to knock him out during lessons, it will save you alot of hassle ad
  21. ive heard that bouncing rhythm which you get from skipping and apply it to fighting wastes too much energy, and is generally pointless
  22. ive been skipping for a couple of months now and im at the peak of performance in which you can have in skipping, thats mean i can do literally all the different styles and tricks with skipping. Ive been doing them as an alternative way to improve my cardio as using the treadmill too often hurts my knees, and my cardio has improved. However isnt skipping supposed to improve my footwork, am i supposed to be in the bouncing rhytm when i spar as i normally am in when i skip??, what are the xtra benefits which i should be recieving from skipping? -ad
  23. hey, yeah im pretty much in your situation all the time man and i feel for you. Though when he physically is touching, no matter how hard or how he did it, it still is counted as assault so therefore your allowed to take some action back. Though as a MA, you should know the difference between reasonable and excessive force, if he slaps you, hit him back or trip him over, dont try to knock him out. Ignore the people who disrespect you, if it persists, challenge them to a fight, then they will shut up. But never give in to them, you are better than that Ad
  24. that the same view i took martialartist1, but after asking question and talking to some people, it doesnt seem that training in china is what we both will be expecting, just look at the responses we have recieved so far. its harsh reality i know
  25. i appreciate what both tommarker and jmd161 have said, i cannot say that i totally agree with what you have both said, but i have appreciate your info and you have enhanced my knowledge in training in china.
