  1. Good luck with Muay Thai Angus.
  2. A war is the worst possible scenario.
  3. The World Trade Centres collapsed because the heat from the explosion (said to have been 150 degrees C) was hot enough to soften the metal structures of the Centres, thereby making them not strong enough to support the buildings. It would be impossible to make such structures capable of withstanding such an explosion.
  4. And dancing you like BlueDragon.
  5. That's totally true KickChick, bulky muscles look awful on females. IMO, no offence to anyone. I've never heard of a resistance band before...off to get one. I'm on with getting a bag...just keep meaning to get round to it...I've got the pads and gloves and practise with them as often as I can get someone else to help out. I'm scared of squats because I did too many once in our class...and couldn't walk upstairs the next day. I love push-ups...what are triangle push-ups though? Thanks for all the tips
  6. A terrible shock, condolences to everyone. Lets hope this doesn't cause WW3
  7. hope your yellow test will go/is going/went ok...dunno the time difference Good luck.
  8. is hapkido anything like kickboxing?
  9. Personally I wouldn't want to be black belt, even if I was offered the chance to send in the video-type-false-evidence as mentioned above. I don't think I deserve to be a black belt and it would terrify me...so yeah, a black belt impresses me, or maybe not "impress" but it does mean something to me and everyone I know. And the black belts I do know, I have a tremendous amount of respect for.
  10. Good luck with telling your instructor and good luck with the wing chun.
  11. Thanks for sharing that with us, made very interesting reading.
  12. Yeah, good luck for tomorrow Richard.
  13. Good luck with your graduation Lars
  14. That is so sad TOMMY LEE, I'm really sorry.
  15. Maybe cardio kickboxing and other activities incorporating martial arts and aerobics should introduce a little on defense.
  16. you're confused?...I'm terrified!
  17. KickChick, you are the greatest. I have learned so much from you.
  18. Sounds painful... You need to stretch, that's all it is...practise doing the splits, and then jumping into them. It hurts though, but it's worth it...
  19. lol! I think you did have one too many ) bracket up there... *ducks* I think from what I've read so far that it is better to go for a contrasting style...although I dunno about Tai chi and Karate...but more like doing opposite styles, like boxing and grappling...
  20. They have sequels???
  21. Dance...stick on your fave music (well, unless you like classical or something) and jig about for half an hour while getting ready for school. Not only will it keep you fit but you'll be in a good mood all day too...so your friends also benefit. Alternatively, just walk up and down the stairs 20 times every morning...up for one shoe, back down, up for the other shoe, back down, up again for one book, back down, then another...and so on. But...my skipping rope is my bestest friend..
  22. In other words you can't win
