  1. lol! ^ Any music will do for me...my kickboxing class is near a gym so we just listen to their music, could be anything.
  2. An email too...knew they were going through the messengers...never ever open a .exe anyway, it could be anything.
  3. Awww that's nasty! We don't do our class barefooted thank god, only to kick...definately not the warm-up...yikes, I don't think my poor shins could handle that. What you say is probably right...I only get these pains when I've been doing a lot of roadrunning, like the GNR last weekend...and they only last a week or so. Awww, I really feel for you though, the pain's awful...
  4. Jeez, it is unbelievable. What a brave man. I hope those hijackers took a huge beating from Jeremy Glick and the others before they all died.
  5. Kickbutt's right SubmissionFighter, your English is fantastic, and you're lovely too
  6. Congrats GoldDragon and kickbuttnat...you both look superb in yellow...
  7. Wow SubmissionFighter, thanks...I am very honoured to be your new heroine! I am also THRILLED to be a blue belt! Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get your blue belt soon. Congrats on getting your yellow belt GoldDragon, although I'm sure you won't have that for long... And iamrushman, you are so kind!
  8. I'm fairly certain that this is to do with too much running...I've got pains in my shins, no pain in the knees or ankles, just the shins. I've been reading about something called shinsplints... Just wondering if you have any tips on how to get rid of it. Or how to prevent it in the first place.
  9. Yeah Slim, you should have a word with your doctor about this, (s)he'll tell you whether or not you can do a little running or other types of exercise or not.
  10. No offence taken...she's always on some sort of mad-diet. And yeah, those pills make you ill.
  11. Oh dear. Um...like an encouraging speech... Like "go on, you can do it" that you say to your 4 year old on his/her first day at school when they don't want to leave you. I think.
  12. Good insights you lot. I don't know why SubmissionFighter
  13. Wow GoldDragon, you are a whirlpool of knowledge. Very interesting.
  14. lol! You need not worry about people on here kicker, we're all cool!
  15. Thanks SubmissionFighter. It seemed to be a bit "tough" for me but I just wondered what it involved...I think you did a good job of explaining. Thanks.
  16. Wow, thanks for that little pep-talk SubmissionFighter
  17. Can someone explain how thai boxing differs from ordinary kickboxing - or are they nothing alike? Is thai boxing more powerful than kickboxing?...just judging by the thai roundhouse kick which requires more power than other roundhouses.
  18. Thanks KickChick and Ken, although Ken...that sounds v. hard SubmissionFighter, I know what you mean but I very much doubt I will EVER be fast enough to do that...
  19. Thanks for the link KickChick.
  20. Thanks iamrushman.
