  1. that was one of the worst rambles I have read in a while.
  2. If you Watched Royces Fights You Would Realize people were usually too busy worrying about getting one of their arms snapped or getting choked out.. Why Does Everyone have an advantage over Royce in Eye gouging an Biting? Royce can do it aswell as anyone and was usally in the dominate position. royce did Get biten in UFC 1 anyways...It got his opponet an extra nasty choke....So unless your argument comes down to martial artist with years of training being able to do nothing but poke people in the eyes your argument dosent hold much weight.
  3. Krav Maga... check it out https://www.kravmaga.com
  4. Congrats, Everyone knows they dont give those to just anyone.
  5. If you believe that, then you really don't understand how to use judo... I second that.
  6. Title says it....what do year hear alot that is a big misconception about your stlye/stlyes. My Main Stlye being Krav Maga...I hear lots of people talking about how it's nothing more than biting/eye gouging and groin strikes...definetly not an educated opinion. Remember these are things that are untrue
  7. I really dont remeber where i read it..it was along time ago...but i also would not be suprised if he didint train in either..
  8. Western Kickboxing came from full contact karate. It is Boxing but you can kick above the waist. Muay Thai allows Leg kicks, Knees, Clinching and elbows A muay Thai Fight is a whole diffrent ball game from wester kickboxing. leg kicks and the extended Clinch are the main reasons.
  9. umm..yea...Basically the movements and techniques are designed to be taught quickly and effectivly...some stlyes are not...diffrent people want diffrent things.
  10. very light ones maybe but I have heard that can be bad for your joints.
  11. I believe in an interview a while back he said he stupied Ninjitsu at some point ...maybe thats why he is so sneaky But I have never heard of him studying Aikido..and i have never seen him attempt any sort of wrist lock.
  12. I never said BJJ was invincible...and it's not even my "main" art. I do think it it one of the best stlyes that gives a small person a chances against a larger person.
  13. yes i i remember correctly Jiu Jitsu is the Brazilian(portugese) pronunciation and Jiu jutsu is the japanese version.
  14. treebranch- Fighters have larned to deal with Grapplers because they have learned grappling BJJ or some sort of submission wrestling is a basic neccesity in todays game...The gracies built that. how many 170 pound guys could stand and trade blows with kimo? you own attempt to make him look bad shows an extereme ..he beat someone who had 100+ pounds of muscle mass on him with skill and technique on top of that.
  15. submission wrestling/jiu jitsu/ninjitsu and im sure a little Muay thai.
  16. If i was suprised by it and was too late to sprawl I would either try to pull gaurd and sink a Guillotine or use their momentum and twist and land on top of them.
  17. no that is completly worng. you can be shown a choke break that works wonders when you are expecting it...you can do it time and again yet you are still going to instinctly do a certain thing..KM simply builds on that. I would suggest you see some of the techniques before you say that instinctive natural movements dont work.
  18. https://www.sherdog.com there are tons of fight clips and highlight videos there.
  19. yea happend to me the other night..fight classes started back up and i hadent sparred in a while...i really wasant in my groove and felt like i couldent do anything on defense or offense
  20. Like others have said if they know what they are doing then they are not going to go in directly into a knee. A) they will shoot twords your front leg whitch is hard to create KO power with unless you switch stances..and you proabably not that quick. B) unless you do KO them you will get slamed.
  21. Obviously The UFC is not like a real fight..whati love is when people list off 500 diffrents reasons why it's diffrent yet none of the give a certain person a disticnt advantage.
  22. As far as a practical move i Love Triangles. A Flying Arm Bar is also pretty awsome.
  23. Chuck Norris also has a Purple Belt in BJJ(possibly brown now)
  24. I know your point and my point was that he got submitted by a Man that was Choked out By Royce in 40 seconds. Yes Bas some fights before he started training in grappling..but he didint fight many world class opponets at that point and once he did learn those skills is when he became the fighter he is today.
  25. This Grand Prix looks to be a great one.
