Nope. That idea never cross my mine, but its something I'll ponder next time I'm in a traffic jam. Here are things you should never ponder about, Joe: 1. How your grandmother looks like naked. 2. How your grandmother looks like naked while running through a bed of thorn bushes. 3. Why lemons are yellow when they should be green, and limes are green when they should be yellow. 4. Why do people have to fart in karate class and make the whole place stink.

Controlling the fighting range
CTpizzaboy replied to Jack's topic in General Martial Arts Discussion
Always keep yourself moving(hands and foot) and your punchs or kicks will be masked. If you stay still, it is like a wall moving and your opponent will see it coming. When do you fight, Jack? When ever YOU want to. By developing good footwork you can dodge a hit, and strike when you want. And if you get hit, hit the opponent back faster and harder. -
I believe its just some government conspiracy like the alien landing at Rosewell, or the JFK shooting, or why Mexican food always give me gas. We will never know the truth. But its out there. Obviously, no one will knowingly put toxins into our bodies. And because such great atheletes in the past have display their great ability to the world shows how little this substance can effect the human body.

You shouldn't have post this here. Oh, well. It is better to have a knife and don't need it, than need a knife and don't have it. -

You broke the number 1 rule of Fight Club, which is to never mention it to anybody. Oh, well, hopes nobody reads this. -
First off, I've never been seriously cut, so I don't know how it feels to cut or get hack off by a machete. But maybe I'll try it out this weekend. The natural endorophines will do me good. Second, I know what tendons are. They're fibers that connect your muscle to your bones, and if severed you would not be able to move that piece of the bone (in this case, your foot). Third, unless I'm running around naked and meet a jungle man carrying a large machete on the street, it's going to take alot more than one swing to get me badly cut. Especially if I'm wearing jeans, and clothing. Now, if he was close enough and wanted to stab me, thats another issue. Thats where always being aware of your surrounding becomes important. Fourth, no one should try and explain medical terminalogy to an idiot. Especially someone who is as much of an idiot as the other person. Its like the blind leading the blind. Gets us nowhere.

Martial Artist, I'll have to admit that its a lame attack, because no attacker would just strike only once in a real life situation. However, I read your first post and thought, "Is this guy some funking ninja? Why all these kicks to the head?" And what kind of kicks. You never mentioned. In your example, I would even have time to do a flying side kick to his head, compare to the amounts of kick that you threw. Then again, to me, it was all of air. In your latest post, you're warning about getting cut in the leg tendon and how bad that would be. Tendons don't gush out large amount of blood, main arteries and veins do. Sorry, bro, but you're bullsh*ting.

Even better, try visualizing KickChick, um.. not naked of course...If you've seen her picture, she's one hot lady. During testing or a tournaments, I block out the audience and only pay attention to what needs to done. Its really easy since I can't see far away without my eye glasses. Alright, now go on grasshopper. Make us proud.

Your Most Confident Technique
CTpizzaboy replied to Singularity's topic in General Martial Arts Discussion
All time greatest combo: Jab, reverse, hook. Always do a vertical hook, making contact with the index and middle finger. Otherwise, you will break your hand. Broked my 4 and 5 matacarpal (the brones from the wrist to the knuckles) a year ago. -

Welcome. Sorry, man, can't help you with that one. I live in the US. But there are alot of canadians here at this forum, and they're multiplying like jack rabbits.

I forgot about this post. So the guy is attacking with one hand(got to have a picture in my head). Alright, step into the attack with an X block(right palm facing him, left hand on top) into a wrist grab with left(the knife is still over your head) as you step to the side, away form him with a upward elbow thrust. At the same time, bring your left hand down with the attacker hand breaking the elbow. Move behind for an arm lock with right hand pushed against other shoulder.

My 1st Martial Art Movie
CTpizzaboy replied to Phantasmatic's topic in Martial Arts Gaming, Movies, TV, and Entertainment
That counts in my book, Laurie, which I'll hate to admit is only a couple of pages, and for some reason its all stuck together. I like a women who can cook, clean, wash the laundary, take care of the kids, and save the world all at the same time. Is that to much to ask!! By the way, you'll also have to like green eggs and ham.
