  1. Whatevers best for you. I personally can barely walk when i wake up
  2. BKJ1216, All styles are effective. If not they wouldn't be around.
  3. Good points (the moment your dreading) BUT....... I could show you just as many people that suck at muay thai as i could show you that dominate with muay thai. I fight NHB (if i decide to go back) and yes muay thai is involved. Just thought I'd say that before someone said I had no experience with it.
  4. When I said sprawl, I meant to try to not let them get a grip.
  5. I've had mine for awhile but I don't remember. I think their half fingers.
  6. Pressure to the back of their head and sprawl.
  7. I like your confidence. I don't agree with some of it but you made some nice points.
  8. NHB. Not sure if thats what you were looking for though.
  9. I'm legally not allowed to own a firearm. That's not because of where I live, just who I am
  10. I've come close to having a win thrown out. My opponent tapped but I waited for the ref to break the fight and I almost got it reversed. There's nothing worse than having an opponent tap, you let go and the ref never saw anything.
  11. Your shootfighting gym has belts? My brothers doesn't and neither does my old gym
  12. I probably would have hit the biggest one. That would have been the worst thing to do but I honestly probably would have.
  13. I'll give you one guess why I don't do it.
  14. Me and my friends always tried to do that for fun. I'll tell you from experience: Don't practice on concrete
  15. Not sure about the first one. Somewhere between one and two years. Other - NHB is about the only way to describe it. There are no belts. No favorites. Just whatever works.
  16. Thanks for the replies. I'm taking a month or so off then I might go back. I might even start going to a new gym.
  17. I live in the country and I dont go to school anymore. My days of fighting are basicly over.
  18. I've been training and fighting NHB with the hopes of going pro. I've done a few events and was champ at my gym for awhile but I'm getting bored with it. I stopped going for about a week and now I'm questioning whether or not to go back. It stopped being fun. Now I'm seeing it as being rather pointless. Sorry but this post doesn't really have a meaning. Noones awake at the moment and I just needed to tell someone.
  19. Broken fingers are just annoying. Nothing can really be done so just put a splint on and continue with your life.
  20. Thanks for the links. I'm going to get some videos to understand it better.
  21. I saw it being discussed in the Comparative forum. I have absolutely no clue what it is but from the replies I'm guessing it's rather effective. Is there anywhere I can learn some more about it? I'm thinking about buying a few Kajukenbo videos now to understand it a little better.
  22. Most places won't tell you a price until you show up in person. When you show up you get the basic tour and get to watch a little bit of a class then go over the paperwork. That's the way to get members. I don't like it but that's the way most of them operate.
  23. my times are very relaxed. As a member, I can show up for one of the days classes and such. You're allowed to go once a day but i usually go about 3-4 times a week. The classes are between 1-1.5 hours.
