  1. There's your motivation
  2. Ads like that gets people hurt when they try to use what they learned.
  3. Thats way over my head.
  4. Keep in mind that its early and I'm posting this before my day really starts Tricep pull down (machine) Almost any chest excersice (exept flies, they get stretched a little but not burned) Dips and weighted dips No clue what its called but you put one knee and one hand on a flat bench, keep your back straight and do some tri extensions (sorta like a reverse curl ) Thats all that popped into my head at the moment. Theres more and maybe I'll remember them sometime
  5. Mainly curls. If you're doing a good back routine then your biceps should be getting a good burn too. Or if you're more into calisthenics, then pull ups is good also. (just a guess about calisthenics) I'd recommend focussing more on triceps for your upper arms though. I could post a few good isolation excersices if you want.
  6. That might work for you but I doubt it will work for everybody. Congrats on your gains though.
  7. The more muscle you have, the less you'll notice.
  8. Is there a place that teaches it where you live? Books and videos might help also.
  9. Then you're lucky. Pulled muscles usually heal fast.
  10. Thanks I'm going down there next week to check it out. If I like the class then I'll join no matter what ages are there. I just don't want to feel like the little kid that gets dragged everywhere with their parents if you understand what I'm saying.
  11. I have no clue. I haven't been there yet.
  12. I was going to start Kendo but theres not any place around here. So now I'm leaning towards Tang Soo Do. I haven't had a chance to visit yet but the instructor did return my email. Tang Soo Do has sparked my interest so I'm probably going to join up. The only problem is that I have always trained and competed with other teens, I'm 17. I found out that I would be in the adult class at that dojo. I have a feeling that I'll feel out of place. Should I let that bother me?
  13. Find a good gym. After awhile you should take every chance you get to travel and compete even if you don't get paid. You'd be surprised how well known you can get from doing that. The real fun comes when you're actually invited to travel and compete. It's all up hill from there
  14. Seems like you should give the karate place a shot for obvious reasons.
  15. If I'm not mistaking, I've seen those before but not on the internet. I don't know how much support they offer but I'll try to find them later today when I have more time.
  16. Just like all things, martial arts progress. "In with the new, out with the old" Those aren't exactly words to live by but thats the way some people feel. (not me ) NHB fighting has changed alot of views about whats effective. But as soon as a Karate master or any other traditional art master takes NHB competition by storm, sit back and watch how many people start travelling to one of those dojos I'm just rambling so if I didn't make sense then ignore me
  17. Install the new one and see what happens. I don't know alot about computers either. I've been trying for awhile now to put a video up
  18. Maybe boxing or cardio kickboxing? Those give quite a workout. I don't have any experience with kung fu or taekwondo, but I'd imagine that Olympic Taekwondo would be good for what you want.
  19. Is it a muscle problem or joint problem?
  20. I bet it did. When you start hearing good things like that, it makes you want to keep going with your training. Good luck.
  21. They could be right. Training puts alot of stress on your joints.
  22. Extra fat is just part of mass gaining. After you've reached a desired level you can always concentrate on trimming.
  23. You're doing the right thing by seeing a doc. It could have alot to do with your hamstring too.
