I'd try the knee brace before considering surgery. From what I've heard, they really help. Good luck.

There's always stuff like that around here. Living close to a college probably doesn't help much either.

No problem, I was throwing every bit of advice out that I could think of Hope it helps, and maybe someone else can give you some more and even better advice.

It could have alot to do with your workout. Seems like your over-training. Training the same muscles every other day doesn't give them time to heal (usually). If they don't heal then they don't grow. Instead of focussing on your complete upper body, section it off. Here's an example of something thats worked for me: Monday - Chest and Triceps (3-4 different excercises each) Wednesday - Legs and Shoulders (3-4 different excercises each) Friday - Back and Biceps (3-4 different excercises each) I'm not saying that you have to do that, but it gives you an idea of what I'm talking about. If you work out in a public gym than I'm sure they can give you advice and set out a plan for you. If not, I think GoldsGym.com has online plans and so do many other places more than likely. Just my opinion and advice

Do you mean bow-legged? (don't know about the spelling) I'm not sure but I don't think it would be a big problem.

How long have you been taking supplements? And how long have you been eating 3000-3500 calories a day? Food isn't my "specialty" but I do know a little bit about it. Sounds like you have high metabolism also. (someone correct me if I messed that up, i can never remember if its high or low) A brief explanation of your workout might help a little too. Sorry about the questions, especially if I still can't help

Woman's hands cut off by neighbour - Scarborough
Tombstone replied to karate_woman's topic in General Chat
Well then I guess I can understand why he did it then. Taking away someones children is about the worst thing you can do. Don't get the wrong idea, I'm not saying it was the right thing to do. -
4-6 meals a day and go easy on the cardio (if you're doing any)

heres a link to the sticky right above this post lol http://www.karateforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=6186 (Hope I put the right link)

UFC strikers and grapplers
Tombstone replied to superfighter's topic in Pro Fighting Matches and Leagues
Well the UFC isn't a boxing tournament. When you close the distance, its alot of knees, elbows, and take downs. And just because it goes to the ground doesn't mean the striking stops. As always, just rambling and giving my opinion -
UFC strikers and grapplers

My opinion, It doesn't favor the grappler. It has and always will depend on the fighter. -

Not sure if I understood it right but he only got charged with aggravated assault? -
Don't let other peoples opinions stop you from doing anything.

There's nothing wrong with weight lifting. As for over working yourself, I guess you'll just have to wait and see if you can handle both.
-
I agree with what was said but there's nothing wrong with a good early morning workout on a personal gym And if toning is your thing, I don't see why a personal gym would be that much of a problem.
-
This post is a little confusing so I'm just going to ramble a little bit From experience, I can say that competing in NHB competitions is one of the best ways to train for "the street". As for grappling, I've never been a heavy grappler and I managed just fine. Gloves, gotta love em. But thats only if you're fond of your knuckles

I've been thinking of buying a Total Gym. Like you I've heard good things about it but I don't know anyone that has one. Mind sending me a personal message with your feedback on it if you get one? Good luck.

Whats the RCMP? And I hope they respond to my reply Edit: I just google searched for RCMP and all I got was the Canadian Police. I don't live in Canada though.

Being hot and drinking milk doesn't make you sick? I usually grab a bottle of water and eat the first thing I see in the fridge

Well I was thinking more along the lines of they wanted access to my bank account instead of just spamming my email. But either is pretty funny. People are weird

I've seen it and hated it. I thought it was a really boring movie. -

US laws about owning, transporting Martial Arts Weapons
Tombstone replied to Nikkolaiashimon's topic in Martial Arts Weapons
Just my opinion, If a cop pulls you over and you're wearing a kung fu uniform and have nunchakus in your backseat, I really don't think you'll have a problem. But if you're walking down the road with a sword under your coat, expect a problem. -
I get what you're saying. You know what you're doing and have the ability to help but without that piece of paper you can't get a job. Back to the original topic, No I'm not certified. I've thought about it from time to time though. The only reason I would fail a test is because I don't know alot about foods. And I always liked going to the gym to hangout with friends and have some fun, not to work. Just rambling as usual
