  2. At one time I was told that calorie intake is not as bad as Carb intake when trying to lose the stomach flab...is the true?
  3. Usually the directors are running around but certain ones in my area...I am not going to list names...but... They tend to make time for their division, and it seems that the only people that judge him are from his school...and I think its extremely ignorant to think of yourself as such a competitor like that. I am all for the judges competing in a black belt divison with nont competing veterans judging.
  4. Would you go everyclass day if it were included within the bill though?
  5. Thats exactly the wavemaster I was referring to. Have you had any experience with the XXL Wavemaster? And I have a hanging bag already, I like the mobility of the wavemasters.
  6. The dance things seems to be believeable if it comes from okinawan arts, especially with king sho hashi...

  14. Hmmm I love how every master I talk to or I read their quotes I love how their philosophies on violence and fighting differ. Its refreshing to get reminded we are all humans and our thoughts are all different, thats why so many people cannot get along with each other.
  15. Haha. A similar thing happened to me. My sparring partner jumped up and tried "Hanuman goes to lanka" and he went to high up in the air and I was able to throw an ushiro Geri right in his chest...he did like three back flips before landing on the mat...luckily we had a mat...
  16. You should always practice and not fight, but yet you should also know and be able to fight when you have to, and not a moment later.
  17. Whole grain is good for you, it adds more b vitamins to burn more energy from the food you eat. And try to eat less bloating foods, like stay away from big portions of green vegetables, they are good for you but dont gorge on them.
  18. Oh nice! I got disqualified for using an Ura Nage in a style tournament...haha. But still it should have been used because I was sparring a black belt and I was only a purple belt...haha
  19. Now if I wanted to burn more calories, or is that about the same as well?
  20. The thing with his classes are that some times one is strong while the other is weak and vice versa that is one the of reasons why he wanted to mix them up a bit, to add flavor and variety instead of the old monotonous tone.
  21. On a side note... Is the treadmill better than the elliptical or no?...or either way is ok?

  24. Im sure they also have electives as well. I know for Kajukenpo they make you learn 1-2 new katas from an outside style as an elective for every dan testing.
  25. Feel Free to call me Timm. The belts are the same, in Judo..as far as I know that is. But yes Judo is easy to mix into alot of styles. I incorporate the front leg sweep alot of times when I spar.
