  1. When I used to lift weights all the time I used to call this second day soreness or delayed onset lactic acid, after another day or so it should go away.
  2. What an awesome view! I was in France once but didn't go to Paris this lets me know some of what I missed.
  3. All of the boken I have seen that have scabbards have very thin blades, no use at all for striking.
  4. Pressure points are kind of hit or miss, what might work on one individual may not work on another. Not a chance I'd be willing to take in a SD situation.

  6. I personally don't believe that it works. Just think , if they were real every fighter out there would be training in them. Not to take away from the concept of it being possible, I guess if you believe it will work on you it probably will, whereas if you don't believe it probably won't .

  9. You gotta love kids and the honesty of youth, although sometimes brutal.
  10. I ran on the local highschool track a couple of weeks ago, and I think I would rather run on a treadmill and get nowhere than run around in circles for 4 miles. I wouldn't mind using the track for speed work, running sprints etc.
  11. Myself, I like the wrist roller, wrist curls and reverse wrist curls to strengthen the wrists.

  13. Your body needs the rest to repair itself so every other day would be better. Remember you tear your muscles down in the gym and build them up when you rest. Besides don't you get burnt out working the same thing every day?

  15. I actually don't mind the treadmill but also like hitting the road except the road where I run is really crappy and uneven. I want to trail run also it sounds like a nice experience being out in the woods , just you and nature.
  16. Basically just like it sounds KIAI ! but shorter and more forceful.
  17. Right now I'm up to 5miles 4-5 times a week. Working my way up to 10- 12 miles a day.

  19. Remember even if a fight goes to the ground it doesn't have to turn into a grappling match you can still strike from top or bottom position. In fact unless there are rules which I'm guessing there won't be don't be afraid to get dirty (biting,eye gouging,fish hooking etc.) For self defense it's all about survival so anything goes.
