  1. We may be from different sides politically, but we can still get along. That's what America is all about. Great post battousai16. Some of my good friends are liberals. I salute you for your conviction. And at such a young age. Pilsung!
  2. I would love to leave everyone to their own countries. FYI glingo, I was speaking about the former USSR. Do you remember that. Yeah, a conservative president brought it down and the Berlin Wall. Stinkin' conservatives!
  3. I love Best of the Best. Philip Rhee is kickin'!
  4. My avatar is Philip Rhee. He is someone I look up to in TKD. I took the dragon test, and I am a white dragon.
  5. I don't drink anymore. I donate plasma and it screws up my liver enzyme numbers. Don't want to have to stop donating.
  6. Just a quick note on the U.N. I hate it. With a passion. Terrible idea, terrible organization. I wish the U.S. would withdraw from it before it is too late.
  7. When I call Bill Clinton a traitor, I am talking more about selling our country out to the Chinese communists. And I do believe that he is and was a coward. It is not uncalled for as I have freedom of speech in this great country. That is the same reason you can say what you are saying. The common folk of most countries do not feel the way their politicians do. That is the sad thing about professional politicians, they never want to leave office, so in a sense, they are tyrants as well. This is strong language, I know, but I am trying to make a point. I grew up with a president who didn't take any crap from foriegn powers. Now the world has less to reckon with. Yes it was Ronald Reagan. A great American President. I guess my point is that the rest of the world tends to look to us when they want something, but only if it suits their wants and desires. If it doesn't meet their expectations, they cry foul and throw tantrums, much like your sister and my children do when they don't get their way. I also never said that I didn't like someone because they want money. The French didn't just help us out of the goodness of their hearts in the 1700's either. They wanted to give the British a bloddy nose for kicking their butts. They also had interests in America as well. They ended up settling for Canada, which is about half and half.(British and French) Long winded I know, but thanks for the debate.
  8. President Bush is not the best president this country has ever had, I'll give you that. But I do believe he is better than the alternative. As for Iraq, I think that Bush is merely doing what Bill Clinton was too much of a coward, traitor, or both to do. Inflammatory remarks, I know, and I apologize if I offend anyone, but the truth of the matter is even Bush's father screwed up when it came to Iraq in not finishing it in the 90's. I have said this in other posts, the world wants to be us, they want what we have (FREEDOM), they definately want our money, and you can't make that happen with people like Saddam Hussein around ruining things for everyone. As for Liberating Iraq, a scared people will not act in their own best interests. I believe we should leave now, but I am not in charge in the first person, I can only vote. About the French politicians, they are a bunch of spineless wimps who have forgotten how we saved them from extinction in the last century, twice. The younger generations in the world do not remember the atrocities that can happen with dictators or get false history through that wonderful thing we call public education, so they speak from ignorance. I will step down from my soap box now. Thank you.
  9. Welcome to KF. Enjoy your time here.
  10. If it is pleuresy(sp?), you will be in pain pretty much all the time. Any stress by the chest or arm muscles should be painful. Breathing will even hurt to an extent. I know from experience. I was prescribed a mild narcotic for it when I had it. I would get it checked out.
  11. Thank you Kirves for the link. And thanks to Mr. Richardson for his insight. Great article.
  12. It's some computer geek inventing a video game. Their existence is all a dream. I am of course kidding.
  13. That seems to be the prevailing theme I hear from my friends at work. No one has really left the Matrix, just chosen to go to a different one. Therefore Neo has all his powers in the "Real World".
  14. And nothing is going to change. I am proud to be a bloody conservative!
  15. Not arguing that point. Walking 2 miles is my preferred morning routine because of shin splints and joint health. But cardio wise, running is better. And the longer you run, the bigger the difference between the two exercises become.
  16. Walking is a good way to ease into an exercise regimen. It will take you longer to lose the weight and inches though. Running and jogging do burn more calories than walking.
  17. There was an article on BlackBelt magazines website about this very topic for forms and weapons competition. I can't remember what month it was but, they said white is better for both because it looks cleaner and does accentuate your movements better. Black had a list of pros and cons as well. They also said you should roll your sleeves up for competition. Pretty interesting stuff.
  18. I would add a grappling art and I would absolutely love to study Haidong Gumdo. It would be a perfect fit with my TKD.
  19. Can you say TMI? Let's stick to topic here, so the gentlemen can still participate, please. Thank you ladies.
  20. My dad and I used to watch Kung Fu when I was about 4 or 5 years old. Loved the first one.
  21. Glad to have you here. Welcome.
  22. Welcome.
  23. Welcome to the boards. What 'burb do you live in?
  24. Don't know that one.
