  1. His body is constantly trying to reject the metal. Thus trying to heal the foreign bodies out of himself. This hinders his healing ability to a great degree. Check out the comic Wolverine: Bloodlust for the story behind this. http://comicbookcovers.dyndns.org/comicsdb/covers/WOLVERINEBLOODLUST.JPG
  2. I started because I loved the movies I saw as a kid. Kung Fu Theater was a big one on Sundays. They showed like 6 hours of kung fu movies every Sunday where I lived. Chuck Norris movies, and some Bruce Lee also helped in my formation as an artist.
  3. He becomes virtually immortal. This was addressed in the story Bloodlust. Good story, great art. Look it up. It's a one shot graphic novel.
  4. Give us your system configuration first. If I am thinking right, a 3-D accelerator is part of your graphics card. What kind of card do you have? Give us the skinny on your computer and maybe someone can be of help.
  5. Would that be OUCH! or Ooooooo!
  6. X-man or Nate Summers from Age of Apocalypse is dead. So I don't think he would kill anyone. Franklin Richards on the other hand.....
  7. Wear the cup!!!! The t-shirt is up to you. I have a v-neck uniform, and when I started back up a year ago, I weighed more than I do now. I had to buy a size 7 dobak so the pants would fit my waist. The top shows a lot of chest hair, so I wear a shirt underneath. May 19th starts t-shirts time at my dojang. Praise the Lord!!
  8. Put it in the photo album. Unless you have a website with the same picture. Then use the image commands on the reply page.
  9. JKD is not a style. It is a way of thinking and executing your techniques. At least that is the way I see it. As far as Jet Li is concerned, have you seen his moves? If anyone would have taken over the legacy of Bruce, it would have been his son Brandon, had he lived. Hands down! Shannon isn't a slouch in the martial arts either.
  10. I don't care for competitve sparring. I don't mind if others do it. That is their business. The reason I don't care for it is because the tournaments I have gone to, there is no weight class, only rank and age. Now at 195 lbs. and 5'7" tall, I may not ever be as fast as a smaller opponent, meaning, someone lighter than myself. Point sparring IMO is stacked against heavier, slower people. I know it sounds like sour grapes, but in a real situation, I would tear alot of the point sparrers in my age and rank category apart, just because of my size and technique. I am not as fast as some, but faster than others. Anyway, that's my 2cents.
  11. It wasn't Dr. Phil. It was Dr. James Dobson. You know about Molly Ringwald movies? Just kidding.
  12. These people probably don't remember picking on you anyway. Bullies are like that. I'll give you some advice I heard a few years ago from a leading psychologist. You were (insert age here) when this happened. You are now 40. That was (insert number of years ago this was, you do the math) ago, get over it. It sounds harsh, but if you stop to really think about it. It is sound advice. If you let the past run the present, it stops the future from flourishing. Go and have a good time with friends you haven't seen for a while and relax. Most bullies never amount to much, so they probably won't even be there.
  13. You could grill some veggies like zucchinni or squash, onions, peppers, mushrooms, with some chicken, pork or beef with it. You know kabobs. Tomatoes are good as well. Be sure to marinate a little though.
  14. Yes, but Royce is not as well known by everyone. He has had major influence in the arts though.
  15. Hey Davison, you know anyone from Monmouth?
  16. I would like to point out, with all due respect to everyone and their arts, that combat is different from sport. In combat there are no rules of conduct. Therefore, my opinion is that I would be able to use my TKD skills effectively in combat. I would use the kicking skills I have to learned to attack low to middle targets. Elbows, fists and palm strikes would come into the fray as well. I would say that I lack in grappling and ground fighting though. I will eventually rectify the situation.
  17. Yes monkeygirl, it can.
  18. Congratulations jmy77! I am working on 12 years with my wife. May your life together be blessed and long.
  19. That I couldn't tell you. I think it had to do with Psylocke and a few others. I don't know the specifics, just that he has adamatium back on his bones. You could always check with https://www.marvel.com. They have a section for geeks like us that gives back story on charcters and such. They even have comics that can be viewed online.
  20. Amen to that ZR440. That movie was friggin hilarious. I love stupid humor.
  21. I wouldn't call it flying. Floating maybe. She also tells them her powers don't work that way, when wolverine wants her to fly him over to Magneto so he can stop him. The Storm in the comic has much more control and umph to her abilities. How about Halle Berry in a mohawk? On second thought, how 'bout not. Give me the scantily clad African goddess thing.
  22. Thank you for the praise karatefox.
