@ diamondick: And the point is?

Man, I wish we had a Haidong Gumdo school here where I live. The closest thing we have is Kumdo, or Korean Kendo. That particular instructor won't teach you unless you are a black belt. So I picked the school where my son attends. Maybe some day.

Easy big fella. Let's not let the temper flare. I know I haven't always been the voice of reason on this board, but I am trying to turn over a new leaf. Let's play nice. Again, thanks. -
Cool as cuccumber Patrick. Didn't mean to sound too pressuring. ;)I just haven't logged on since last Friday. It's been a few days for me already. Did the others just give up? Withers: The sooner we get articles in, the sooner we can all enjoy them. So write man, write! I think I am going to try another, taking my time to do it properly though.

Thanks for the link Ryan. -
Let us pray that Saddam was taken out this time.

I personally have alot going on outside of this forum and would like more time. If you want a well thought out article, research must be done, typing must be handled, and I have to work 8 hours out of the day, plus take care of my family. This isn't like posting for postings sake. I just don't want to do this halfway. Thanks.

Why now? You're right. It should have been done sooner. 12 years ago to be exact.

Here's another. This is an interview with an exiled Iraqi, talking about what the Iraqi people want and what they will do to the Fedayeen. The link: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,83118,00.html

Try this on for size and tell us of any other stories you came across. Then tell me if this war with Saddam is necessary or not. Here's the link to the story: http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=31869

Our gov't. is not perfect. But alot better than most. It was Oliver North, not Peter North. Get it straight before saying something. Oliver North was the fall guy in the Iran contra affair, nothing more. He no more made the decisions than I did. He was what he was supposed to be, a soldier. He did what he was told. Good excuse? No. Plausible one? Yes.

Why? It would still be breaking that law, because we would be ordering the strike. Seems anti-war doesn't mean anti-killing to some. Change the law back to pre-Clinton days and we could just go get him. But how would you know it was him. I don't think it would be as easy as it would seem. I think we all look at it through Hollywood's eyes. Covert assassins sneak into presidential palace, slit Saddam's throat, and then slip out before anyone realizes what has happened. It cannot be that easy with a guy like Saddam. This also has to do with following through and keeping our word. The US said from the beginning that we would take him out if he didn't comply. Unlike the UN, we are a people of our word. We are forcing him to comply. No more walking on eggshells. It should have been done 12 years ago, but we gave diplomacy a chance. In this instance, it failed, and so did the UN. You can't keep threatening to do something to someone and expect them to fall in line. If you tell a child to do something and they don't do it the first time you tell them, they will continue to push and see just how far they can go before the hammer falls. We told him once, it was time for the hammer to fall. It has fallen. It's called discipline. The world sorely lacks discipline in this day and age.

I would have preffered taking Saddam out alone, but we have a law against covert assassinations of foreign leaders in this country. War unfortunately, IMO, was the only way to accomplish this. Especially since the Iraqi people are too afraid to rise up. I pray we will squash him like a bug.

Dude, that was good!
