  1. Mathematically, it may be the fastest growing group, LOL. Welcome to the forums!
  2. Welcome back. I'm glad things are going well for you.
  3. Say, what hole? Oh, that one, it was here when we moved in remember? Dad must have never got around to fix it. OR Tell the truth. What's the big deal, its just a wall. Throw yourself on the mercy of the court!
  4. Welcome!
  5. Welcome!
  6. Welcome!
  7. Awesome! Here's one to help March along.
  8. Welcome!
  9. IMO, Shudokan (I'm guessing is a hard style Japenese Karate?) should be OK with Kempo, especially if its offered at the same school. The instructor may combine part of the training as many Kempo styles have a Karate base.
  10. Good luck and welcome!
  11. Welcome to the forums!
  12. And when you put him in the front seat you can use the HOV lane for car pools!!! BOB is a good bag. Since I don't have one I usually pick a spot on my wavemaster and just pretend.
  13. Welcome!
  14. Try to work on a bag and turn your head. Do the technique at 50% speed until you hit the target every time. Increase your speed until you are proficient.
  15. Bam! Here's another post. Seriously, way to go KF!
  16. Welcome!
  17. Flexiblity, balance, coordination, and strength are great things to bring to MA. Good luck.
  18. Start with Tiger style. It is very simular to Shotokan. It is upright and powerful and focuses on devastating stikes. The tiger will go right through you. The crane, on the other hand, doesn't have the power of the Tiger and has to rely on affecting balance and using the body's natural leverage points to create it's attacks. Since the crane is not as strong it must use it's strengths and angles as it cannot attack you like a tiger. I hope this overly simple illustration helps. Maybe we can expand this discussion as there are more animals that are pretty interesting.
  19. Try to check out a Kempo school. It could be just what you are looking for. Many also incorporate grappling as part of the curriculum.
  20. Welcome!
  21. Experience, or in this case an experience, is a good teacher.
  22. Welcome and good luck.
  23. Welcome!
