  8. go ahead you got yourself into this mess so you can get yourself out of it. To be fair i know what schools like and your gonna have to fight him. Dont let it go to the ground because thats where he is strong and where you are weak. But by the comparison you are strong at long distance because of your tae kwon do. Just dont let him get near you by firing strong and quick kicks at him. Dance dont stay still. I belive that he might try to get you on the ground by using some sort of spear american football takedown then get ontop of you and lock up till you tap out. When he trys to take you to the floor use his energy against him if he pushes you in a direction le thim go that way pulling him where he is going. Protect your face lats probably his long range target and if it goes to ground never get on your back i have learnt as soon as you get on your back you are finnished. Try landing on your side and even worse never land on your front your a sitting duck and could be in for the punding of your life. In a fight strength is only useful to him iif you allow him to use it. Sly of thought and cunning can help the weakest guys beat up the strongest guys. He is probably cocky as well use this against him
  9. I do biology so i get what you mean reflex stimulus in other words the more you do something the better you get at it.
  10. a bullet ttravels at roughly 200 to 300 mph depending on what gun it is shot from sound travels at roughly 700mph by the time you hear the shot you have about 2.5sec to move including the time it takes to make a decision it cant be done
  11. i like them but i use push up bars it does a better job they seem to improve speed slightly but not a lot
  12. im the same age as you and i only lift light weights what im doing is that when i got to the gym im progressivly making everything heavier as i get better. I prefer lots of light weight repitions as these give you better muscle memory which improves your speed which is my aim heavier weights will give more strength type results
  13. there is one thing that i have learnt in anything the perosn with the better technical ability always wins im about 5'7 and about 60kg but i maintain the fact that most of me is muscle. in anything if your technique is good you are good.

  23. thats a good point i recon theres more males i remember at the start my club only had a few girls but now the percentage of boys and girls are about the same how times change!!
  24. i remember i have quit for one and a half years and then i found out one of my mates who carried on (there where three of us from age 7 now theres only me ) was now the same belt as me (i got 2 ahead somewhere) that gave me the motivation to come back and i have been going since. I find that i get bored the monotonous moves really get boring but theen i realise if i quite i will miss the hell out of it i have done martial arts all my life. I am determined to get to black belt one day(hopefull beyond) and theres not anything that is gonna stop me. So i just practice, practice and eventually i can do it better even though i find it boring and that gives me satisfaction The way i cope is that i live for competition i want to be the best at everything that i do and i wont stop till i am to me life is a competetition one which i will win (survival of the fitest)
