  10. well it's nice to hear your experiences sparring .Anyways this was told to me by a classmate in summer school when I was in high school,he even showed me his war wounds from regular class practice.

  13. I haven't played it.Is it like Tekken,as in a tournament fighting game,and how realistic is it to real styles.Also what styles do they have?
  14. well you are tall and big,but it's not that big.Well compared to some of the obese americans here.
  15. I'm hopefully going to start kobudo next week,but I don't know if this will affect my training for two reasons: 1.it's like Karate's sister 2.It's a weapon based art. Has anybody that cross trains in weapons here have any problems switching from a striking art to a weapon art?
  16. hmm shotokan has some similarities with Goju Ryu.We also stick to the basics,have deep stances,and our techniques and training also create strength.Also I think this is also another difference we do shiko dachi and you guys do kibo dachi,amI right about the kibo dachi?
  17. if you take a martial art in college does it have the formal uniform and rank?or is just like workout clothes?

  19. so rikishi are you a big guy yourself?Just curious because I think it would be hard to do our Karate styles with a size like 500 pounds if you are like that.
  20. well for me it was the punches beacuse the Karate punches were executed differently,then it was the foot work,but besides that it's all good.Although I tend to do some kickboxing looking punches when I sapr.
