  1. BJJ can be started at a young age, its about the safest out there, and man oh man i wish id started as a little one.
  2. okay... but just what the hell is vibration?
  3. just in the one sense that youre gonna get the @#$#@ beat outta you a lot more. dont get me wrong im all about gettin as big as i can be while still a good fighter, but i dont do it for money.
  4. anyone good enough to kick someones head on the street with a good chance of it working would still be better off taking out the legs- which would still just take one hit with someone that skilled. and its still less risky, no matter how good you are you can still fall on your * if something goes wrong.
  5. yea it sure hurts... later
  6. haha! ask pedro (whatever his last name is- martinez?) how to counter those submissions... hell look at you and tap on the ground.
  7. no way- the thai kicks are the best you can get- believe me they hit the hardest. ive met maybe one tkd practitioner ever whos kicks id be afraid of... and if you stuck him against a thai boxer.. no contest. yes, it really is.
  8. i have one. fighting. that includes them all, and discludes a lot of the styles you guys said. (haw haw.)
  9. actually yea, i think capoeira would be a good one for the olympics. (probably catch some flack for this...) but capoeira is more of a dance and performance kind of thing than a fighting thing anyway.
  10. when playing as ryu or ken, when ducking, use a fierce punch then immediately press forward and that same punch and theyll do a fireball. quite effective.
  11. meh, you seem to have it going on with your kicks allready. add in a front snap so you can kick people in the balls or shin (not hard at all) if you like, but really- what else do you need?
  12. thing is- being a girl makes you more likely to be attacked.
  13. there isnt just one- but anything with an elbow oughta work good.
  14. not just muscles but any space between muscles where you reach tendons and things like that. like the one between your bicep and tricep in the inside of your arm... hurts like hell.
  15. good protein and carbs before and after a meal. the rest of the time, graze- smaller, but still good sized meals 5,6 times a day. the idea is to spread everything out. dont forget your veggies and fruits and all that.
  16. that makes sense. bigger bodies hardly have bigger heads, though. the brain and skill and all that is the same throughout smaller guys and bigger guys. come to think of it, rather than just the neck, i bet the entire body being bigger means it all absorbs the hits more.... guess in a way it sucks to be a big guy competing.
  17. ..... OW!!! dont you hate that *?
  18. if your freeweights at home are heavy enough you can do rows. otherwise find something to hang from and do widegrip chinups (like lat pulldowns only with not machine) and pull ups and narrow grip pull ups. also, chest exercises will work your back minimally, but its better than nothing.
  19. "what the hell are you talking about?" i was just talking about hearing about a lot of american thai boxers going and beating thai thaiboxers in thailand, and i was just thinking outloud that maybe they have better hand skills.
  20. if you can handle the exertion why not. i wouldnt hold off on grappling though- its good stuff and youll regret not starting sooner once you did.
  21. even hits to the head though- all the body mass in the world doesnt change that, know what i mean?
