  2. the korean styles i hold rank in are taekwondo and hapkido.
  3. to be humble is part of earning respect. and yes; to avoid confrontation is the key to the martial arts. we as martial artist train in combat techniques so we can give stength to our bodies and mind. violence is used only as a last resort to bodily injury to ourselves or the innocent. IMHO

  10. if you have followed traditional chinese martial arts movies they have allways done that. for instance: jackie chan started in these types of movies.

  12. being from hawaii where we have now pro teams....i follow the current local teams of the cities i live in..........so i'll have to say right now it's the miami dolphins and the miami heat.

  19. that is a very good question. i dont know that much about kung fu and would like to see others perspective on that subject. tai chi is more than likely a form of kung fu. lets see who else can reply. i will follow closely.

  23. yes sir i agree...........hand techniques are very important to the martial artist however taekwondo specializes in kicking so therefore i stand as above. thank you for allowing me to express my views.
