being the huge dork that i am, i've actually spent some time trying to get hwoarangs hunting hawk kick. i can get the first two kicks, but not the third. i dunno about the helicopter kick, i don't play much street fighter.

hey, you don't know that. maybe everyone in that game is at one with the universe and has complete master of their ki. besides, in the cutscenes they get hurt when they're shot in the limbs.

i don't know the names of the people individually, but i remember the name of the group was "the yamakazi" or something to that effect, my spelling might be off. ironically, that's the only episode of ripleys i've ever seen

first up, IMO, tommorow never dies was far from a good game. probably the worst bond game to date. and wasn't it a third person as well? anywho, yeah, there was a cover story on omega strain in a magazine i get; well, got, my subscription is up and i haven't gotten around to renewing it, and it looks like it will be very much the same game. where it gets really interesting aside from the create a character thing, which btw will be very extensive, in the co-op mode online you'll be able to do things with other people, like wall climbing moves (ala ICO) and your team mate can draw enemy fire while you leave with a hostage and other cool stuff like that. the only thing that gets me is that evidently you'll be able to earn abilities like instant head shot, which to me takes some of the challenge out. i mean, i know that once you get the hang of it it's really easy to do, but to be able to do it instantly takes away a lot of the charm.

well, i'd gathered that. i was just wondering how long they really were to resemble escrima sticks, because they shouldn't be that long unless the drum is really big. and by really big i'm talking, like, 12 feet.

2 is definitely my favorite. 3 is very fun, and adds a lot of closure to the story. on top of that, you get to play as a new character, and there are some neat training practice missions and an awsome multi player mode, with a super cool computer lab arena. there's also a really neat weapon that can shoot through walls ( the scope can too, so it's not completely useless ). definitely worth playing. 1 is also very fun. if you lived within a 500 mile radius of me, i'd definitely let you borrow them, or point you to a store that always has them cheap

blast, there's no raised eyebrow emoticon. interesting, though. first, i'll grant you that no one ever implied that being gay was a bad thing, i ASSUMED, i'm sorry. i'll keep in mind not to assume when people refer to expressions used by the general populace. i personally have never heard this "gay people shave their bodys" stereotype personally, it just must have not made it's way up to WI yet. and who said i was trying to make anyone look prejudiced? i merely expressed my opinion, and even passed it off as just possibly being my left wing thinking. and, for that matter, isn't that statement right there jumping on something i said in an attempt to make me look prejudiced? very interesting indeed...

yeah, Synaesthesia, i see what you're saying. i kind of have a "defeat without an all out fight" philosophy, and in my experience, my tactic is usually enough to intimidate someone out of a fight. we don't get many attackers in WI, but we do get quite a few brawlers. i guess it all depends on what you find practical.

you'll know how it will work out when you play 3. he'll probably still be in it. it's a good thing this thread was labeled "bored", cuz we've completely changed the subject, like, 8 times
