well, than i would advise, good buddy, to take some time off for yourself. all work and no play makes jack a dull boy, ya know?

this is a little weird, and i can't believe i'm beginning to participate in this, but... personally, i'd be more inclined to stop what i'm doing and catch a baby than a cat. even in the middle of a fight.

of course, with all said it's really subjective. as with any work out, the martial arts is only as good as you make it. if you slack off in class and don't do any work out side of it it wont benefit you that much. so keep that in mind.

well, first of shorin ryu, it's pretty bloody hard to find a good kung fu movie. i don't think anyone liked bruce lee for his brilliant acting, brilliant story lines, or standard breaking dialogue... and... not to be disrespectful, but did you just call romeo must die a good movie...? the only reason i personally made it to the end is because i was positive there just had to be a good fight scene SOMEWHERE in the movie. i was very dissapointed. that movie scarred me from jet li for life. i'm only starting to recover with once upon a time in china (i've only seen the first 3, and you're right, 2 and 3 were pretty subpar)...

that's the spirit! of course, i think that satisfaction true of all people regardless of gender

if you can find your self a copy of kung fu qigong magazine, you can order one out of there. fairly cheap, too, if i recall.

well, we have a woman only club around here, and they invite men to be practice dummys. sounds a little harsh, but i was invited once (my mom is friends with the owner) and it's really a lot of fun. and, for the record, they didn't have much trouble transitioning from female to male. they through me across the mat just like they did all there partners

the girl i'm currently interested in is a martial artist. she's a bit more advanced than me though, and likes to put me into joint locks... ouch...

our workouts are a pain, and by that i mean they're good. i can usually count on hurting the next day to add to that, cross country is in season so i have 5-6 mile runs 6 days a week. i feel for ya red j

i don't think my friends and i ever went that far we kept all of ours we did, however, dress up in costumes, take our imitation weapons, go out to the forest near my house and battle for a good while. ah, good times, good times.

well, being the big dork that i am, i took heihachi's little spiel where he jumps up and kicks and then turns around and kicks them with the other leg. i forget what it's called. hwaorang does it too, but he adds another kick to it. hwoarangs is the hunting hawk attack or something like that if you're that curious.

well, you seem to be under the impression that southern WI is a martial arts master breeding ground, where i have an entire garden of grand masters to choose from. this is not the case. and as i'm only 17, leaving WI isn't really an option right now. i personally believe i have the best i can get right now.

i shouldn't say that, they're the best that i know of.

ok, i'll ask my instructor. and if he dosen't know, i'll ask my tai chi guy. and if he dosen't know, i'm screwed cuz they're the only decent martial artists round here.
