  2. WAA is what the Japanese announced whom Butterbean belong to. Maybe some sort of small boxing organization that cannot compare to IBF, WBA or WBC.
  3. Anyone know about him??? He is going to fight in K-1 dynamite and belongs to WAA as the heavy Champ. His fight record please....
  4. China Event Questions & Answers Dear IKF Readers, Today we were sent an e-mail from a popular China website with some questions that were related to the recent IKF Sanctioned China San Shou event. We thought, since someone was asking us these questions maybe others wondered the same things so we are going to answer them publicly here on the IKF news page. Please find the questions below exactly as they were asked to us, we have kept the senders name private. Has the IKF well prepared for the fight? ANSWER: The IKF is a "Sanctioning Body". We do not manage or train fighters. The fighters who fought on the recent IKF Sanctioned China event fight for many different organizations. With this being said, the answer to your question is "Yes". As a "Sanctioning Body" the IKF was well prepared for this event. Why Dave instead of Ott come to the fight? ANSWER: The event promoter, Dr. Yong Yao wanted to promote Mr. Marinoble in this event. He and Dave met some time back and have been talking about promoting an event for months. Do you think if the San Shou player had played, he would have done a better job? ANSWER: Dave has fought San Shou before and does well. If you are asking if Mr. Rudi Ott (Right) would have done a better job, there is no way to know this until Mr. Ott fights Mr. Bao Ligao (Left). Both Mr Ligao and Mr. Ott are our IKF Pro World Champions, having this title speaks for itself. Both Mr Ligao and Mr. Ott are "Excellent" San Shou fighters. Mr. Ott has won once and lost once to Mr. Marinoble. We look forward to a third match between them if a promoter can make it happen. If you really want to know how Mr. Ott will do against Mr. Bao Ligao, I suggest you discuss with those capable of promoting such a bout and have Mr. Ott fight Mr. Bao Ligao. Mr. Ott would fight him on any day, anywhere in the world as long as the offer is worth it for him, again, remember, he is a IKF World Champion and deserves to be paid and treated as one, just like Mr. Bao Ligao. This way you will have your answer. You have complaints about rules, next time, will you ask Wushu Association to change it? ANSWER: By fight time, we had absolutely no complaints about any of the rules. The rules were all followed to the agreed requirements by all involved. We spent 7 hours the day before the event discussing the rules in a very positive and productive meeting with the Chinese Wushu Association. After we had all discussed our concerns and the rules were adjusted, all of us were very pleased. With this being said, let it be known that we as the IKF and even all the fighters had "NO COMPLAINTS" about any of the rules that were used in the event. In China thousands of kungfu funs require Cung Le to fight Liuhailong. Would it be possible to have this "revenge" fight re-matched? ANSWER: As you may already know, Mr. Cung Le, (Right) like Mr. Ott is an IKF Pro World San Shou Champion. He is probably the most well known San Shou fighters in the world and one of the most well known martial artists in the world. This being said, he is a very busy man. However, Mr. Le will fight anyone, anywhere as long as the purse is worth it to him. The promoter did not want to match "Asian" Fighters against "Asian" Fighters on this event so Mr. Le was never even asked to fight on this last event. To the IKF this would no be called a "Revenge" fight. We are not seeking revenge on anyone. We represent all fighters and all champions so Mr. Liu Hailong is our IKF Champion now too, just like Mr. Le. If you can find a promoter who is able to pay both these Champions what they are worth, I'm sure neither would be afraid to fight each other and we as the IKF would be proud to sanction such a great bout. Cung le is your Champion, and the only one who has beaten up our Champion, why did not you let him fight this time? ANSWER: This was answered above. To begin with, Mr. Liu Hailong (Right) would have had to come down in weight to fight Mr. Le since he fights at the weight below him and holds his IKF World Title there. But to re-answer this question, the promoter did not want to match "Asian" Fighters against "Asian" Fighters on this event so Mr. Le was never even asked to fight on this last event. I believe this was because the promoter and those associated with the event wanted to make it clear for the event that they were not having a World Title with two Asian Fighters against each other. They wanted someone from overseas, but not "Asian". Will you get your belts back? Or leave them hear as gifts of friendship to Chinese People? ANSWER: When a fighter wins an IKF Title Belt the belt is there's to keep forever. If they should lose their title, a "New" belt is made for the new IKF Champion, but the previous IKF Champion will always be allowed to keep their IKF Title Belt. What will you say to Chinese Kungfu funs, who have shown great concerning about this match. ANSWER: I'm sure my answer would be the same as "ANY" fighter out there in the World Today...
  5. Film to download.... http://down.btchina.net:8080/torrents/108247.torrent
  6. Strengthen your Chin bone by using little round wooden stick about 3 inches diameter. Roll this slowly from light to hard on your shin bone. Thai boxer may use Wine glass bottle to hit lightly and repeatly on shin bone. My advice is to web bottle with some cloth as pad for beginner. Every time after doing this, you need to put some "yellow oil" on your shin bone. I am not quite sure what "yellow oil" call in English. Anyway, some kind of medicine to prevent you suffering from injury. Hope this help
  7. from: https://www.ws.com.cn USA fighter name: Fernando Calleros Dave Marinoble Edurardo Fuijihira Detail: https://www.ws.com.cn/cgi-bin/lb2/topic.cgi?forum=1&topic39418 (But need to know Chinese) Anyone know what is IKF
  8. This was held on 7 Dec 2003 in Beijing. 4 vs 4 3 game for men and 1 game for women Sanda fighter won all but no KO. Chinese side sent the top fighters. I have no comment on this because I do not know about USA fighters's standard. Anybody know about USA fighter's information??? Are they great??? Anybody know about this competition??? USA side's organisation is called IKF with the head called Mr Dan Stell Anybody know about this???
  9. Pushing something repeatedly help to train on intensification of muscle's extend and contract. In other word, to generate "Jin" or penetration force on punching or palm-attack.
  10. For Chinese Kung Fu system, usually they achieve more powerful punch by 3 ways; taking simple pushing palm as example 1) Using instructment Take a big stone ball (somewhat like a boiling ball) and set a wooden platform with slope on your waist level, use your palm to push it upslope, breath in and let it downslope, breath out. Repeat these movement to strengthen the muscle of your arms, waist to generate dynamic power. 2) Qi Gong 3) By repeating practising same pushing palm and increase your speed of step-in.
  11. Famous for...........Um Being too chaotic, being standard declining Too many schools, branches style emphasized different fighting styles make Kung Fu difficult to promote. Lack of competition make the combat system become worse.
  12. To all, Recently, I know a little more about animals styles. Indeed, there are still many strange animal styles like Shrimp, Crab in Natural School, Bear, Horse in Xiang-I Ten animal, Duck style. Simply to judge is how it is used for combat. I remember I have made a post before "Using animal to cheat human being"
  13. Looking for Hung Gar if you would like to learn something as what you have seen in 70's Kung Fu movie. Because at that moment, most of Action instructor on that movie was from Hung Gar. Good luck!!!
  14. I don't know much but can tell something. SSM characterised by its conservative attack. Usually they would throw 3 - 5 combination attack in one time. This can be good for self-defense. No belt system but some sifu may do this for easy understanding of level among student' progress. Only 1 advice, don't even try to do any modern Mantis that combine by Mainland China. You learnt nothing but imitate a mantis
  15. To SupaNinjaz: If you read carefully, match in 2002 in Thailand on King of Thai's Birthday when all the best Muay Thai fighters have been sent. Result is 4:1. Muay Thai win 4 game (3 by KO & 1 by points) While Sanda have 1 only. (By point) Sanda lost pretty bad indeed. This time in Thailand 8 August when the result is 3:2. But maybe I supposed Muay Thai fighters this time are not the best because their age are usually 28 or something. Maybe they are ex-Champion. Anyway, I am still unable to prove this. But one point is sure that the Best from Muay Thai should go for another battle again for 1 Thai fighter being TKO and 1 being KO this time. To: Tofu I would agree with what you say that the Sanda fighter has a poor form of punch in K-1 max. I've seen some of game that he played in King of Sanda in China. He usually threw a punch in very big action and when the punch landed on the neck of oppoent, he would use throw. However, K-1 cannot use throw. But no matter how, I don't think the guy has any chance to win that game in considering that Sanda fighters by that time are not very good in dealing with Thai low kick and knee. Thank you for your website. By the way, some information is translated from Chinese version.
  16. See the average standard of the students. If their average standard is high, go there. Famous masters are meaningless if he don't know how to teach or keep secret techique.... Even worse, when tuition fee is Huge
  17. BTW, this time the Sanda player fight better and be more active to fight back. More better physical condition than before. I am more impressed by this because last few time, Sanda fighters have been claimed as runners or swimmers for using side kick to get point & go out. Sorry, White Shark I don't agree with your point because this time Thai can use elbow but with pad and Knee OK but no point. Hopefully, in the future, this can be modified more. And Thailand have also sent their best fighter to deal with Sanda on 2002. Result is 4:1, Muay Thai : Sanda The latest 5 competitions on 8 August, 1 Muay Thai fighter being TKO and 1 Thai Muay being KO by punch. I don't think Thai side would keep silent because this competition happen in Thai Big Stadium.... More competitions would come soon. I don't have any biase on either one because I learnt both art. To Tofu: Still I don't think Sanda fighters can handle MMA competition May take some more years
  18. Total 5 competitions Sanda : Muay Thai is 3:2 Place: Thailand I have seen only 2 competitions, Sanda fighter can stand and fight better and be able to tackle Muay Thai Low kick better. Side kick to head and Throw can get some point. Anyone know about the details, I am not sure about the Muay Thai fighters this time. Meanwhile, Sanda fighters are the Top in Chna, Later, I may have MPEG file from my friend.
  19. sound interesting If grass hopper can be a style, maybe ladybird can be also. Sorry but I can't help to laugh....
  20. I would recommend you to learn Yiquan instead of Hsing-I when seeing your aim. Go and seach in the internet about this Seldom does Sifu in Hsing-I teach you straightly to what you planned to learn as mentioned. You may probably start with the Five element form first....
  21. Anyone can answer me? I noted about TKD can divide into 2 kind in general. Any other traditional art??? (I know TKD is not a traditional one) Their characteristic??? Still exist???
