  1. Welcome to the forums.
  2. Well dont think that i dont have the up most respect for the wrestlers because i do. But i have trained for hours to get out and to attact wrestlers because for many years that was the only style that i had problems with , so the wrestling style is very strong. But now i have it made so even if "Randy Couture" took me on im 80% sure i would win. You have to remember that randy is just an other person to me i dont care how famous he is in the ring his just an other oppoent for me to go through.
  3. Congrats , hope ya do well.
  4. Yes that is true control has alot to do with it.
  5. You all make good points but i must remind you agian that this question is very old and when it was first said, ideas like yours wern't thought of. Also this whole situation happens in a second you first see the person and then bang!! it all happens quickly.
  6. Everyone who has spoken about the variables my i remind you that this question is approx. 350 years old of course they didn't have guns back then but wat ever was around is wat was put into the question. clue: think about it more as reaction time and not as the gun its self.
  7. ah yes it does sound clear. That is a better way for the lock to work if they just fall into it. But both ways work fine.
  8. good try but no thats not the answer. If you look into the history of the monks and ZEN you will find the answer.
  9. I think if you are matched up agianst sum1 like that u shouldn't fight because it doesn't seem fare. But if he is short and the same age as you then different story. I would say fight him as normal like you would any1 else. Because of his hight im sure he would of trained alot in how to take down taller oppoents.
  10. I didn't know where to put this so bare with me. There is an old question about martial arts that has been around for many years. I already know the answer but i wanted your answers and your opinions. "If there is a man with a gun standing 1 km away from you and he has it loaded and aimed perfectly at you. How do you defend youself?"
  11. lol carnt't wait , im sure it will be a crak up.
  12. yes very fast lol.
  13. lol yes that is true it does suck to be on the other end of it i have experiecned it lol
  14. well i think that i can get all thoese beneifits from 2 hours , not hours on end waste of time in my opinion.
  15. dammm thats pritty good, very mentally strong. But i dont see the benefits of that.
  16. gezzzzz id hate to live there.
  17. lol ahaha congrats on getting married and tell us if you do yell kai!! at your wedding.
  18. You should maybe ease up a little , but not stop because this is great training for your oppoents and sparin partners.
  19. yes i have performed it. But i dont use it offten. If i were to tell you the information about it i would just be repeating what the others have said. They have good information. above.
  20. I think it is very safe if both oppoents have respect for each other.
  21. Yes , but wing chun has many weaknesses in the kicking area so be carful. But it is still a good idea.
  22. Yes i have also done some Tam Tui , it is a very good program. They use it in schools because it is a great leg program and also the rest of the body.
