  1. Well you have to listen more to your environment , and the people around you. And think about everything you say before you say it. Medation will help with this.
  2. I dont think its right , and if you lie it shows how much self efficacy you really have.
  3. No no no , that the wrong thing to do , you should never throw the first punch. Because you leave yourself open.
  4. Oh if you want to know its true heritage , it comes from kung-fu and wing Chun
  5. The one inch punch is in JKD , its all about useing the force from the ground to give you energy and then sending that energy through your arm into you oppoent in a hip swist action. A good link is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_inch_punch
  6. Its a bit weird , because i can train any body part and time of the day and it feels fine. Also the whole deadly stricking has nothing to do with Chi flow, its a science if you hit that certain point this will happen and its been proven and it works , so it has nothing to do with Chi.
  7. I think you major problem is time , you need to relax more and take your time dont worry about getting ahead , worry about doing the best you can at the stage your at.
  8. I would have to say Bruce Lee , because he created JKD which is my major style. Also Chuck Norris for his great programs in the states.
  9. I didn't get into it much , but it is a good style , and the above links will explain it better than i can.

  12. Like i said before if i were to have no weapon , then really the only choice is to run. Or you could try and be a hero , but who wants to get stabed or slashed ? no1
  13. mmmmmhhhh , i use to listen to music back in the day. But now i usally just listen to my body and clam my self down , ready for the next fight.
  14. Yes thats right , grabing them will not be the smarter idea, and ive done deadly weapons training.
  15. Yes you can but meditaton in my opinion is the superior alternative.
  16. No offense but, punching a bag a thousand times is good and kicking is as well, even one step sparring is okay.. but, nobody will really know unless you actually fight, not punch a bag, actually spar with someone who is really going to resist and fight back... and if you mean sport, like point sparing where there is little contact than yes I agree some... but competition in general, is the best way to find out what works and what doesnt.. sport or not.. You didn't understand my statement. I said martial arts shouldn't be allowed in the "olympics""" , not in a competative sense. I think that strickly martial arts touraments is a great idea , and follows everything you said, but u refered to sumthing i did not say.
  17. Yes you will have an advantage , but that doesn't mean your gonna win.
  18. Yea true , but i asumed he was speaking about basic Judo.
  19. I have handled worse.. but you kinda didnt tell me any exercises... you only told me that you have done many blocking techniques from many styles.. my original question was for you to share them?? lol you have a point, okay there are many blocking or defensive techniques and it would take me along time to right them dien soo ill give you some from one of the following styles you pick. ( Shotokan , Nin-jitsu , or CWB ) ??
  20. I agree some, but if you put mike tyson and steve Erkel in an arm wrestling match, Mike would win because he is stronger and bigger... I believe that size of the muscles can actually play a pretty vital role.. Oh yea ofcourse , if the guy is like twice the size of you , lol
  21. mmmhhh thats your opinion , but mine is that you need to train your mind just as much as your body.
  22. Thats all well and good , but i dont see martial arts as a sport , and thats what the olympis is a sporting tourament.
