I've never seen Shotokan Karate Magazines

I would have to disagree with the blue belt thing. I've seen some of them teach....they are not very good. I have little rolling experence but I have beaten some of them. You see in america most of them are just making money. I commend your school if it is actually teaching for something other than money. I dont think you respect other arts because you should say that BBJ can beat Blackbelts in other arts. That all depends on the person I hope you know. As for most style being half way to black belt in two years. Well I have been in my style for 10 years. Im still not a black belt. My style average time to get a black belt is 9 years. Only 3 people have completed it in less than 4 years. (Although now people may get it sooner....I personally think the style is starting to get softer in discipline to get more students which I dont agree with) I have nothing agains BBJ but it is getting to where the only ones I respect are the Gracies and the Machados (spelling?) Sambo is a good art that is not discussed to much. It can be a very good art.

Watch out for spyware with Kazza though. It is the best. Ad-ware is an anti spyware program. It is free off of download.com. It doesnt like Kazza to much. Kazza has over 35 regular spyware programs. Nothing comes without its cost. If you dont do anything dealing with business and you only use your computer for internet and gaming use Kazza it wont hurt anything. Dont use your credit card though when ordering stuff. Remember spyware.

I think they should. Most seem more fair and would be more concerned with people. It would help the martial arts to of course.

Depends on the situation. I would give them what they wanted if it was something they wanted like money car ect. (I would kill them if they tried to hurt any of my loved ones) If they are far away the best method is suppose to be to run away in a diagonal manner and swurve back and fourth. Idea behind this is to make it so you are harder to hit. If they are close to me I would have to disarm them if giving them what they wanted didnt work. I do know my limitions though. I would pray if they were absolutly psyco. (I would come back and huant them if they killed me.)

I believe that any style can be adapted for self defense even if it is a sporty style. The best weapon in a fight is your mind. Traditional has the edge in a fight, breaking sporty kicks is the hardest thing for a sport artist to do. All the arts have the ability somewhere in them to be able to fight....like I said the mind is the key factor. Sport is better for exercize and traditional for self defence. Neither one is worse than the other. They arent equal but have the ability to be equal with the right mind set.

Yep that is what I mean....Not just tournament type stuff...bios...histories....differences martial arts make....Martial arts in the military, police, ect. I would watch it.

Best way to spar is to relax and have fun....learn from your actions also so you know what works and what doesnt....most importantly dont think just react.

This is a spin off of what animal are you? That one is what animal you think you are this is what animal were you born under on the chinese calendar. They also have elements for each animal born under a particular year. If you know yours put that on also. (water, fire,ect.) I was born under the Rooster. Dont know what elemental sign though.

I feel that my martial arts have helped me in everything I do. If anything it is a good stress reliever. It keeps me in shape and it also makes it so that I am open to others opinions. Also it makes me so that Im not shy and I no longer have a bad temper like I used to. So it has helped me to great lengths. My getting into martial arts has also lead me to be a good researcher. I like to research different arts and that makes it so I know how to research other things. Also has given me the willingness to learn new things. I never stop learning and always am trying to learn something new.

I am confident of my defense....however with a knife you will get cut most of the time. Sometimes the key is to know how to not get cut fatally.

I hate spiders too....the best way to deal is to research it and make sure you know what it looks like and if it will be in your area. Also know where the hospital is. That way you have nothing to fear. Another thing is that it is rare to get bit by one. Knowing about the spider will help you not worry about it.
