Jadnek what lovely names, how did you come about them?

Today my son Ryan found our 9 week old kitten dead. She had really bad injuries so i know she was killed, by what i guess i'll never know. She was so sweet and special and was a family member. Her name was toes because she was black with white feet. Toes was mischeivous, always climbing up my window blinds and then getting stuck at the stop. We have buried her and Ryan got a large rock and painted it, made it pretty and painted her name on it. It's 10.30pm and i have only now managed to calm him and he is sleeping but all he has done is cry. I'm sure Toes is now waiting for us on Rainbow Bridge having a good time and playing. It's just hard trying to explain things to a nine year old, especially when he found her. Just thought i would share, needed to get it off my chest. Thanks for listening! Kez

In soaps and tv programmes you have gangsters, football players and all sorts of other occupations but never martial artists. I would love to see a tv soap opera with one of the characters being a martial artist. Has anyone ever seen this, does anyone know of any tv programmes or soap opera's with this in. I remember a tv programme on on sky 3 once called fight school which was quite good, but im talking about programmes you see daily or every week on the tv, say like coronation street. Kez x

Aww bless ya karatek. I have seen the whole season two now but i'm frustrated cos i wasn season 3 NOW lol. That seems a bit weird 6 episodes then 17. Will the 6 episodes be classed as season 3 then?

Yes we have to be black belts to before we can teach the beginers. We have lots of instructors already so don't want to be treading on anyone's toes. But i think i will speak to my sensei maybe nearer the time. Thanks guys

Hmm yeah i saw that episode where charlie gave claire a case full of the stuff. Desmond then tells her he did it every 9 weeks for three years and never felt any different. When is series 3 starting in the us?

That was the same as me karate k i had a 10 year or more break. I was lucky my sensei let me back on my old grade otherwise i would'nt be grading for 1st kyu next. So i guess thats another thing i would have done different.

Hehe you will be fine. It's not a nice experience but the good thing is it doesn't hurt while they are doing it, and you can have the sedation if you want. You may like that cos it makes you feel very drunk.

The hamster cheek has gone now thankfully, but i am still in pain. Don't know if there's something wrong or not but my gum feels a little swollen when i touch it with my tongue.

Hi everyone. I'm going to grade for 1st kyu at the end of august. My ultimate dream and goal is to own my own dojo and teach. But how do i start out? Obviously i can't do it yet it will be a few years i know that, but do you have to start planning early. Rent a room or real dojo? Also would i need bags of money to start off? Something else that's niggling me is that i would be betraying my sensei and and going off on my own after him teaching me everything he knows for years on end. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Kez x

My sensei is having a similar problem at the moment..only with a shortness of adults. He was saying that he's going to go through the books and send out letters so old students, we are also planning a demo at our local park. Good luck!

Yes tekken 5 is out, most likely be £40 for a while, i will wait for the price to drop first before buying it. As for the PS3 i don't think i'll bother with that, i have a PS2 already and Ryan has a PSP. The X box 360 really catches my eye, would like one of those.

Hey karate k i'm up to episode 18 and it does get better! Have you seen the one yet where sawyer steals all the medical supplies and guns, he wont give them back, people have to ask him if they want something, and sun is pregnant too!! They will have a brand new population on the island. Thats if the 'others' don't steal them all. By the way what was Ethan injecting into Claires stomache?

I agree with Bushido man, you picked a bad apple. Not sure what you guys mean by MMA fighters?? I feel that respect it is a big thing among martial arts and i have a lot of it, i think without respect it's pretty useless. On the other hand i also think that sensei's/masters should also show a little respect to his/her students. Not by putting them down and being inpleasent. I have lots of respect for other MA styles and am very facinated by them, i am hoping to either try Thai boxing or TKD in the next few months. Any kind of martial arts has it's own disciplines and all should be respected really. Kez xx

Unfortunatly yes it does seem to be focused mainly in kata, my sensei always says 'shotokan...think big'. It should be seen more in basics. Kez x
