Well i got my commupance guys! I can't go back to pay for the coat because last night my wallet was stolen And in it was much more the value of the coat. There was £40 cash and a £50 cheque. I was out drinking with friends for a birthday, i got in the taxi to go home and realised it had gone.

Yes he was fantastic, he used to scare us kids! I remember being bullied at school by a lad that trained with us and Jack went and had words with him lol. I remember we had to sweep the dojo up first. My sensei's live near him now, sensei dave grice, and sensei mike moores.

Oh no, mixed replies there! I do feel dreadful now I have recently checked the reciept and the coat doesn't show on it. But i DID see her scan it and bag it. Oops

Wow G-Man thats so cool, i made this thread a long time ago. When did you train under him? I can't remember the exact years i was there but i was young. I remember there being a sensei called Alison (she had black curly hair) and Dave. And the dojo i think was above a print works near the courts and police station.

I also have the same problem, only the kids are a lot younger than 15. It's a nuiscence i know but i have just got on with it. Occasionally there is an adult to spar with. I liked Bearich's idea's they make a lot of sense. -
Yesterday i went shopping for last minute christmas things and winter accessories for the boys. I decided to buy Ryan a new coat for christmas. I saw a gorgeous one in a sports shop, on the tag it said £49.99 but was reduced to £17.99 so i thought "wow what a fab saving i'll have that". In my basket i also had a hat, socks and some gloves. I took all four to the till and watched her scan all items. I was ready to hand her £30 but then she said £10.01!!!! I knew she hadn't charged me for the coat but i left the shop anyway. Now i bet your all thinking..."Kerry! How dishonest!" I know i guess it was a little dishonest but normally i am a very honest person. But i did see her scan the coat on the till so i dont understand why i wasn't charged with it. As far as i see it, it was the shops mistake not mine, is that wrong? So how many of you would have stopped and say "hey you didnt charge for the coat?"

Aww wishing her well in her finals....finals for what? It's nice to see your a doting supporting husband too Brian! Ear infections are dreadful so i have lots of sympathy for her.

Hehe Brian, the dreaded dating stage! I guess it's harder for you parents with girls. As soon as my boys are old enough i will be giving the lessons in the birds and the bee's lol

Also i heard a brisk 30 minute walk per day is good too, you ever heard of that? Good idea obiwansbane, that should be fun! Brian i have heard that some people take aspirin before long journey's because it thins the blood. Also flight socks are available for long haul flights,...How attractive! lol

Same here Brian, i have never heard of him either. Sounds like it's worth a good ole google though! -
I'm not familar on tkd grading systems at all, but i have seen stripes on the coloured belts, i think they are called 'tags'?
-
I know it's crazy isn't it Kirsty, Ryan is 10 in may and Ethan 3 in january. It goes so quickly, you have to cheris every moment. What i am dreading is that for some reason one of them might say "i wanna go live with my dad mum".
-
Thats a good way of looking at it Kirsty!
-
Well for me so far so good, the kids are ok too apart from Ethan having a little runny nose. Touch wood and fingers crossed we will all be well for christmas. Hope your wife feels better soon Brian, best wishes to her. Kez x

Awww Carolyn i'm sorry to hear this. I have never been through living with someone after officially splitting with them, but i can imagine it being difficult and strained. If i was you i would encourage him to find his own place, even help him if you can. Otherwise the situation at home could become bitter and thats not good for either of you hun. Aww best of luck with that, thinking of ya! Kez x
