I never heard of this style...can you tell me about it? -
you can't compare BJJ to WC. both are totally different arts. Both have different techniques and ways of fighting, but what's important is if your a WC guy if can you counter the BJJ guys moves. If you can then there is not need to study to it.I think you can find alot of the answers in your style if you look hard enough.I'm not saying WC has all the answers because no art even BJJ has all the answer.

yeah, if you want to study qi gong you must know what you want from it.then you must understand the basic and thories of qi gong.Learn as mush as you can from a book so as to educated your self, but you should find a good teacher.

I would not worry of think about KI at this point it will just confuse you and slow down the learning process. The system is very simple and straight forward nothing mystical..If you master SLT your WC will be very good.At that point then you can start thinking about KI..By the way since your studing a chinese art you should call it Chi(Qi) not Ki which is Japanese. -

Lineage ????
stonecrusher69 replied to nanfeishen's topic in Kung Fu, JKD, Wing Chun, Tai Chi, and Chinese Martial Arts
I think I'm on a roll here I just thought make a statement not so much about lineage but picking or finding a good teacher.its sort of related beacuse I dont use linage to find a good teacher.I noticed there are two basic kinds of teachers 1. One that does not show much of his skills and does not train with his students and 2. one that does show all his skills and gives himself 100% to his students. Ihave had both kinds of teachers.beware the teacher who hides behind lineage and does not train with his students.I fund this kind of teacher usually has little skill and is not willing to really teach you. Also, they about money all business..
