  1. I'm from Chicago and L love Hockey. Favorite team is the Blackhawks...ok, so I like to punish myself. I miss the old days of Keith Magnuson. At least then there was always some blood on the ice to look forward to when the Hawks were not doing so well.
  2. I hope that all went well??
  3. This kinda stuck out at me. Although I would have wanted to change what I said I would in reality I would have done nothing different and still been in these same shoes. Had I changed something my daughter would not be my daughter and there are great things in my life that I would not have experienced. So, with that, I change my mind and say that I would do nothing different.
  4. Nice going! Perhaps your leadership and understanding can foster the girls to stay longer and perhaps reach black belt and beyond. As a role model you really have the chance to make a differrence for the girls. Just keep on doing what you are doing. Good luck to all.
  5. I didn't know that. Thanks
  6. Respect and loyalty works both ways. Abuse is abuse and must not be tolerated no matter how technically good they are. Instructors that abuse should be jailed. They are men/women just like you and me. They arenot gods or kings. My opinion
  7. Breathe deeply and not too fast...that might help the butterflys. Relax, you'll do fine
  8. We do such things as military or Law Enforcement because we have a calling I suppose. As for MA, maybe it's the same
  9. Excellent performance under pressure. Congratulations to your son!
  10. Very well put. Your son is 9 years old. Here's wishing both of you the best of luck.
  11. Focus! Don't hit the boards hit beyond the boards. When guys aim for the fence in baseball they sometimes keep on hitting the ball off the fence. Aim beyond. Good luck
  12. as some have already said...depends on the instructor...and you too. Although I do not do TKD I have known over the years a number of people who have. I have seen live demonstrations that were quite impressive. If this is what you want to look into.. go for it!
  13. to defend
  14. Hi Kyle, Welcome, welcome, welcome
  15. I think that the bouncing brings things back down

  19. Great news! Kinda like a pop quiz and you aced it!
  20. We never did it either. But..we only had three belts before black (White Green and Brown) Jumping that much was rather difficult. It would probably be easier to do if there were 10 different belts but that would depend on the ciriculum. To answer your other question, I would not like the idea but then I suppose that there are and probably should be exceptions.
