  1. Welcome
  2. Welcome
  3. Really interesting. Thanks
  4. I was hoping that Rex would shut the fans. That did not happen. It was a good year for the Bears. They got there. My team, Green Bay, had to watch from home. Congrats to the Colts. I hope that Archie is happy.
  5. Kata...one man's junk is another man's treasure. I feel richer with it than without it.
  6. Oh well. Congrats to the Colts.
  7. I am hoping that the Bears win. I would love to see the Bears down by 5 with 3 seconds left 50 yards away, the receiver is covered in the end zone by 4 Colts and Rex Grossman fires a strike through the defenders to win. Bear fans and the media here in Chicago have been too hard on the kid and they may be too far in his head. Go Rex!
  8. Even though I am a Parker fan my hats off the the Bears. Rex did alright too. Now that it is the Bears and Colts I think I am still taking the Bears...forgive me Vince Lombardi.
  9. I would like to see the same. What happens depends on Rex I think. he can either be an MVP for the Bears or, as he was in the Green Bay game, the MVP for the Patriots. Go Rex!
  10. She made a movie! Which one? I would really like to watch it if for no other reasons than to watch it. She actually has quite a few movies out. Here is a bio and a movie list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cynthia_Rothrock Enjoy! Bushido>man96, Thanks so much. The list was great...and a photo too...wow
  11. A white belt with a black gun. Such a combo
  12. Funny and a musical learning experience Thanks
  13. Good luck. It sounds like you had a great time. Good for you!

I agree with everyone else thus far. It depends on many factors. Each person is different
  16. I would think that this would be seen as disrespectful. If you want to get rank with another school then train with the other school. Just my thoughts. Perhaps express your concerns to your sensei? Good luck
  17. I think the idea sounds fine but I have too much on my plate already to be able to spend the time watching. Sorry
  18. Possibly think about joining with your wife? She may not be interested but if she is then you can do this together? Just a thought
  19. That whole thing is pretty scary. I too can't imagine what could be going on. I hear the window being open at night and getting sick should not cause problems but then it depends on what kind of air is coming in. Do you live by a factory or some other thing that is expelling something?
  20. I kinda like the Patriots too. If the Bears don't get there I think that I would like to see them win. I am for the under dog and although the Bears have done (overall) well this year they come into the playoffs less than spectacular. Here in Chicago, people are really upset with Rex. They are getting into his head where I imagine that he is thinking too much about the fans during every play. At least that is my thought. I would like to see Rex win on a high note and show the fans (although it would not really do much because the fans are sometimes just impossible to please around here. This Sunday should prove interesting. Which Rex comes on the field and also the defense and Brian Urlacker need to bring their A game to the field too. This game, and possibly the next one, may decide if Brian Urlacker is all that his press says that he is. Please don't get me wrong. He is a very good player but I am not sure he is a linebacker god yet. Well, bring on Sunday!
  21. Ask a professinal (doctor or even possibly a trainer). What I have to say is about vitamin C. Too much can bring on kidney stones. I have had them and they are not a good time. Good luck to you
  22. first of all welcome to the forum. I know that as you get older your desire to get out to train sometimes, depending on your life's situation is sometimes more difficult. Family responsibilities, school, work and other such things means that you need to divide your free time among all of the things that you want to do. Some people have to many extra curricular irons in the fire or a few irons that require a great deal of attention and as a result one cannot do everything that they want to do. Sometimes, your day at work is really rough and when you get home you just need the rest. Personally I leave at 5 in the morning and do not get home many times until after 7. I would suggest that you review what you have going on in your life and see exactly what it is that you have going and prioritize it all. See if you can make room for karate. If it is just that you don't want to leave the TV then you just have to get up and get to the dojo. Sometimes once you get past the getting started level you get more into it, especially when you make friends and find the enjoyment of working toward a goal. Then best of luck to you Welcome once again
  23. After they got past the first hurdle I like their chances. Of course I did read websites that suggest the fix is in for NO to win because of Katrina last year. My father in law use to be on season games by trying to determine how the bookies would need the numbers to drop to make money. He did rather well with his system (although he was not perfect). He once said that playoff games in the pro football did not seem to follow his system. I don't know if a playoff game can be fixed now adays. Even so, if Rex is on and the defense can find its way back so that they do as well as they did at the season's start they have it made. They will at least get to the super bowl. Once there, anything can happen. As a Packer fan I am looking forward to a Bear victory (even though my step-son will ride me about the win for years I don't care.) That is the way I was in 85/86 too.. GO BEARS!!
