OMG my grandma just bought me a box set of 50 thats right 50! 70's/80's/90's Kung Fu DVD's for 20 bucks, thes are the cheesiest of all time the only ones in there that I have heard of were the Streetfighter and Sister Streetfighter movies

I am realy pumped about the Mundials coming up mostly because my teacher is competeing in the Black Belt Masters lightweight division. Who else is exited

I would not like olympic BJJ however I would like to see the Mundials and Pan-Ams grow in popularity. Like having them on cable or something

I don't realy like point fighting, just because I like the fact that in MMA you can be for example a great karate guy and have to fight a great BJJ guy. If that happens (probably not now but back in the day) the Karate guy could be taken down and be completly out or his element. OR the Karate guy could sprawl the whole fight and leave the BJJ guy out of his element.

First of hasn't this subject come up enough already. Now, if multiple attackers com your probably IMO screwed anyway, so going to the ground probably won't make a difference in that case but if you wind up 1 on 1 and stiil you don't want to go to the ground you should still train there so that if the stuff hits the fan you know what to do. For that I sugest BJJ. But if you want to get good at stand up try JKD. Both are practical for street fighting.

BJJ is #1 we had a competition around the middle of June and I was just getting realy fired up about it

Here is a good question, at your guys schools do you do more kicks from Savat or Muay Thai?

what about Wanderlei Silva vs. Lidell for a unified Middle weight title, however I don't think Lidell would have a chance

JKD is cool but since you work at a prison Krav Maga is probably more practical. As far as Shorin Ryu goes I dont know anything, but you cant argue with the price
