  1. I usualy train twice a week and compete every time something comes up near our school and it took me 2 1/2 years
  2. Machida is awesome, he is failrly underated imo. And as far as his Karate goes I heard that his father was a famous Karate guy in his day. But still in todays day and age you have to have great skills all around which Machida does
  3. I saw part of a video on them taking empty hand kali and jkd and transitioning it to mma
  4. Their main school is in El Segundo Cali, but they heve students with their own schools all around. Rumor has it that their yearly gathering will be televised on spike this year which I think would be great for the art itself
  5. Saw a few of their highlights looks like teir kali is awesome anyone train with them now or in the past?
  6. Try and learn some standing guard passes, your base and posture have to be great but it will rule out alot of subs

  11. Helio Gracie was small and thin, he made his jiu-jitsu game much more technical than his brothers more agressive style, so yes it will help you
