Not incomplete just open ended, Lee never intended JKD to have strict guidelines just use what your particular situation calls for. -

I was wrestleing with a blubelt after class tonight and i knew i would get dominated so i just started trying crazy stuff that i usualy dont do like i tried to set up a triangle then went to rubber guard which was stupid because i never realy tried it before and then he got side control right before the match ended then i went against another blue belt this time he stood up in my guard so i figured what the hell, i droped down an played x guard and i swept him after the match we were talking and he said i had a raly good x guard so now im going to use it more often. A little of subject i know but i beat a blue belt! -

ways to beat someone bigger

If you know how to use it the butterfly guard is very good against bigger opponents because there are alot of sweeps and more leverage than the closed guard -
just got it about a hundred pages in now

(teoredicly) If they sorounde you and you had to fight I would use the P.I.A. (progressive indirect attack) on the ones that were "semi" trained ie: fake a jab then shuffle kick to the nether regions thenI would probably be on the grond with the third guy on top of me so i would tryto work for an arm bar (realisticly) I may be able to incapacitate the firs guy thn the next two would takle me and knock the s*** out of me

BJJ is 1 replied to Sinar89's topic in General Martial Arts Discussion
JKD is very practical there are no katas or anything like that it has alot of thai boxing in it along with savat and wing chung. If you have it in your area I would go check it out.
